I kindlly advise the customers do not use Livingston as customs broker bc it is the worst customs boker on the market. No stars. Zero comunication. Zero profesionalisam. There is always a luck of comunicatios between the carrier and them. I look on others platforms and there are so many bad reviews regarding their services. ZERO STARTS.
View on GoogleThe slowest broker in my experience they never clear loads in a timely manner. Update feb/29/2024 Livingston is the worst broker when it comes to clearing shipments in a timely manner I will refuse all load from now on if the broker is Livingston I wish I could give negative stars
View on GoogleIt's totally frustrating. We drivers come home after 3-4 days being on the road and then this Livingston broker waste 5-7 hours on border for just to clear the load. And its not the first time your stupid system is down. Atleast be polite to drivers if they are suffering because of you. Worst worst broker. Consider this 0 rating.
View on Googletwice stuck at the border due to the incompetence of this broker, they simply do not know what they are doing. my dispatcher and I sent documents at least 4 times and nothing happened. Truckers, better find another broker if you value your time
View on GoogleI've been in the trucking industry almost 13 years now, and Livingston continues to shine as uncaring, underperforming, unaccountable, and just a terrible broker. I guess pushing papers must be a brutally thankless job. It shows. Yesterday (Wednesday) morning, my dispatch submitted my paperwork around 12:30am, for a load I was picking up from Metro Detroit to bring back to Canada. I arrived at the pickup location around 3:15am, and they hadn't even LOOKED at the paperwork yet (ETA was 02:00 - apparently, my dispatcher had already called them FOUR TIMES to inquire about the status of my shipment). 3 hours later, they finally submitted it to CBSA. My PARS was then rejected. It finally cleared around 9:30am....but I had to leave that load/trailer behind around 7am, and grab an empty trailer to bring back, after sitting at the shipper in Metro Detroit for nearly 4 hours. This latest episode of incompetence was the last straw. This nonsense happens about once a week, on average. Dealing with this organization is kinda like herding cats. Worst part is, there never seems to ever be any improvement. No accountability. No responsibility. And when you call too often to check up / hound these guys, they just don't answer the phone! When they do answer, they make excuses and pass the buck. Only bright spot, is that the supervisors (like Sam on nights) are absolute rock stars. They seem to be the only ones who care about getting us moving. I don't know what has to happen to improve this organization, but I am fed up. This behavior is unacceptable, and if it were any other competitive type of business, where they weren't the biggest show in town (buying up all the competition), I fail to see how Livingston would even be in business.
