Lifeguards are fantastic. Very supportive, in encouraging me during all my lane swims.

I don't understand the negative reviews but this is one of the best pools in the city. Their website clearly states the open hours and dates. The staff is great and care for each and every swimmer. Great!!

Me and my four kids went here with my 3rd baby daddy last week. I can confidently say that this is my favourite pool I’ve been in this year. My kids loved the wade pool and had so much fun playing with the toys. Constance (My 6 year old) did say that the water was slightly cold, but it tickled my fancy. The lifeguards gave us lavish gifts such as gold, frankincense and myrrh. Something about the second coming? I wasn’t paying attention. Anyways, loved the atmosphere and staff. The murals on the wall caught my children’s attention too. So creative! Thank you Lion Dunc Schooley Pool for the single best experience of my 23 year old life.

Terrible Experience - Poor Staff and Service I recently visited Lion dunc pool and was thoroughly disappointed by both the quality of service and the attitude of the staff. Unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. Staff Behavior: The staff members were unprofessional and unhelpful. From the moment I walked in, I was met with indifference and rudeness. Instead of providing assistance, they seemed more interested in chatting among themselves and avoiding any interaction with customers. Their lack of courtesy and responsiveness made my visit extremely frustrating. Service Quality: The service I received was subpar. Not only was my request handled inefficiently, but the staff also showed no willingness to address or rectify the issues. I encountered numerous delays and felt completely neglected throughout my time there. Overall Experience: In short, the experience was highly disappointing. The staff’s attitude and the quality of service were far below acceptable standards. I would strongly advise against visiting Lion dunc pool unless significant improvements are made.

Normally I would give this pool a 5 star rating because my family and I have always had good experiences here. However, all of that changed last night. My daughter who has been practicing for the swimming test finally passed last night and we were super proud of her. Myself, my daughter, and my fiance were swimming in the deep end when the head lifeguard approached my daughter and told her she had to retest because they felt she couldn't swim and looked exhausted. I had no issue with the life guard following the rules, but I did not appreciate how rude and aggressive she was towards my daughter. If my daughter appeared exhausted it's only because she had been swimming and jumping in the pool. It didn't make sense for them to immediately retest her in that state. During the retest the lifeguard was quite aggressive in how she was yelling and speaking to my daughter. I could see how tired my daughter was at this point and informed the lifeguard that my daughter has kidney issues and if she pushed her like this it could make her sick. I was faced with nothing but attitude from this lifeguard. I my daughter was extremely upset because of how she was treated and it killed her confidence to the point she asked never to come back to this pool. I acknowledge this person was doing their job, but they could have done it in a more appropriate way. Safe to say we will never be coming back here unfortunately.
