Lester D's Reel Diner

Great place filled with movie memorabilia. Fun! The only reasons (2) I gave it a 4 out of five was the volume on the "jukebox". Too loud for conversation. Normally I love loud music, but I would turn it down just a tiny bit. The 2nd thing will not apply to everyone, I am quite large and cannot fit comfortably in a booth. They luckily have two tables or I would not have been able to stay. Everything else was wonderful including our server and the environment. Even using the ladies room was fun! You have to see it to know. Highly recommend.

One of the coolest places I've been at. The vibes are great, food is amazing, service on point. Looks like all the employees are happy and very kind.

After sitting on hold for 20 minutes with Stacked to inquire about a modification they probably couldn’t accommodate, I gave these guys a call. Picked up on the second ring and was able to meet every request (extra egg, more home fries, steak on the side (9 bucks!!), extra hollandaise sauce and a few other things to bring the portion up to the size I wanted. The Dawn of the Planet of the Eggs weighed at least 4 pounds in potato, egg, sautéed veg and hollandaise sauce. The steak was 8oz but it was huge for its weight and while it was obviously on the lower quality side given its only 9 bucks, the sauce they give to pair with it is unimaginably good. Ended up eating half the steak with the dip which I intended to cut up and put in the egg tray. All of this food pictures cost me just under 40$ and was arguably just as cheap, if not cheaper to get from Lester D’s as it would be to make it at home. They don’t skimp on anything here. If you need massive breakfast trays for family/friends/events etc. and don’t want to break the bank but not give up flavour & consistency, this is your place. Want to add something or completely change a dish to your liking? Done. I will be back.

We found this place while searching for breakfast in St. Catharines, and wow—what a gem! The reviews for Lester D’s were spot on. The movie style vibe is awesome, the staff are super friendly, and the food was absolutely delicious. Everything just hit the mark. Can’t wait to come back next time we’re in town!

My family and I have been coming to this place for the past five years and it never disappoints! In the summer, they have a lovely and welcoming terrace patio, perfect for enjoying a relaxed meal. What makes this place truly unique is the decor—it's a dream for movie lovers, especially fans of classic films from various genres like horror, sci-fi, and drama. I’ll never forget our first visit when the waitress showed us the Chucky doll at our table, it was such a fun touch! The staff are always kind, courteous, and knowledgeable. They take the time to explain new dishes or specialty coffees, which adds to the experience. The portions are generous, perfect for hungry husbands like mine and the prices are very reasonable. It’s a family-friendly spot with a great kids’ menu, and I personally love their milkshakes and specialty drinks. Another plus: they allow cash payments and you don’t have to pay taxes! This is a wonderful small business that deserves our support, especially with so many big breakfast chains popping up in the area. I honestly have nothing negative to say so it’s a solid 5-yummy-stars from me!
