Incompetent crew. Unable to return a phone call or email. Misfiling causing 50k + in late fees for not filing the proper paperwork. Took 9 months to complete returns causing 2800$ in fees in late filings. To top it all off, now they want to charge me to amend the filings that they did not do properly in the first place. Will be filing a malpractice complaint.

I had a terrible experience with Leap act account services. The process was slow, and customer support was unhelpful. I faced multiple issues with my account. Despite reaching out several times, I received little to no assistance. The lack of transparency and professionalism was frustrating. I wouldn’t recommend their services to anyone looking for reliable account management.

What a terrible and disappointing experience with the team at leapact. I used them for the first time for my 2023 tax year: they did not submit m documents properly, the government withheld my kids c.c.b, tax refund and all additional funds until november of 2024. When i contacted leap act, the emailed me stating i could submit all additional forms myself to the government, but if i had the time or knowledge to do that, Id have done my taxes myself in the first place and saved myself the 520.00$ they charged me to file with them. They were not accomodating, they then stated they were so busy it would take months as they requested an extension to submit 4 documents. It really was a bad experience. Side note: after posting this, i was contacted by the receptionist who is polite and nice with a good disposition to ask me about the situation. After explaining evrrything she asked if the taxes were finally processed to which the answer is yes. Ultimately, it got done.

Kris and Mark are very passionate about their work and make sure customer service is number one . They have a team of staff that are always growing and learning . Because they take the time to constantly educate themselves; even on an international level it reflects deeply in their work. Mark was a recent speaker at a conference located in the Financial district in Toronto . Chris recently completed a masters degree. They both returned from Europe a few months ago from a business conference in Europe. This Cloud-Based Accounting consulting and Tax business is highly recommended for individuals or businesses.

This is my 2nd year working with Kris and his team and it is honestly the most pain free experience. They work hard to get a great return and are patient and caring through the process. I have ADHD, work in the film industry, and I am an expat based in Vancouver filing in 2 countries, which all present challenges for this kind of thing, and Kris navigates this with ease. I love that we can complete everything easily over video chat and appreciate his expertise. I highly recommend McEvoy, Lelievre and Associates! Thank you!
