Lazeez Shawarma

One of the worst restaurants. They literally served me stale poutine. If you are not making fresh fries its best not to put it in your menu. The lady forgot to give the pop along with the order. When asked, she mentions I should go and get it. If I wouldn't have asked, I wouldn't get it even though I paid for it. I would avoid this restaurant. They were really good before but since they relocated, the quality of service and food dropped significantly. Not worth the money. DISGUSTING!

I had a great experience at Lazeez Shawarma. The food was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. The portions were generous and everything tasted amazing. On top of that, the service was excellent. The staff was friendly, fast, and very welcoming. You can really tell they care about their customers. I will definitely be coming back. Highly recommended.

Terrible. I Asked for extra garlic and was given less than half garlic... I usually love lazeez. (S.O STONEY CREEK location) and drive 30min to get home to eat it, which has never been a problem so I wanted to call when I got home today to no sauce as it was VERY inconvenient. I called to inquire about it, and was told they “do extra garlic for everyone” but also “ they don’t put extra garlic because it gets soggy!?” I was charged for something I did not receive, offered no refund, and told me to “just ask for extra garlic next time” Which is exactly what I had done? I have never had unflavoured yet spicy, crunchy yet flaky shawarma until today, so if you’re looking for a new experience, you’ll get one here. Due to the colour and flakiness of fries, it’s also clear the fry grease needs to be changed as well.

Lazeez Shawarma in St. Catharines never disappoints. Every time I go, the food is fresh, flavourful, and packed just right. The chicken is always juicy, the garlic sauce is unreal, and the portions are honestly better than anywhere else in the city. You get real value for your money. The staff are friendly, quick, and they always make the food exactly how you want it. The place is clean, consistent, and you can tell they take pride in what they serve. Whether it’s a wrap, a plate, or even just fries with garlic sauce, everything hits the spot. If you’re craving quality shawarma in St. Catharines, Lazeez is 100% the place to go. Absolutely disgusting food and service from the staff working there. This gentleman in the picture working in the front counter was too busy and having fun talking to his buddies rather than serving the customers. We ordered a shawarma & a poutine, he started by making the shawarma then went on to make his poutine which absolutely had no gravy. Then stopped chatted with his buddies for a few minutes forgot about the poutine then went to the back and brought it to me. It’s cold and so was the shawarma because he took too damn long. Absolutely disappointed, when you’re serving food to someone it’s suppose to be made with tht heart regardless you’re a chef or just working for the cash. Ruined the night. Please avoid this location at all cost!! Stay away and hire some nice people.
