I usually get pedicures here and have had no problem. Today, I decided to get a manicure (different girl than pedicure) because my nails were still growing out my Halloween design. I didn’t want anything fancy, just my nails at even lengths, basic black gel with matte topcoat. Everything seemed fine, except the length of my pinkie nails which I decided I could fix at home, and a shabbily edged thumb. Not a big deal. When I got home, I noticed that the polish was completely rippled and uneven. I thought she was laying it on kind of thick (maybe the polish was too old), but it looked okay, so I didn’t say anything. Looking at it now, it’s completely embarrassing. I have a “costume party” tomorrow, thus the black nails. It’s so bad, I’m going to put fake nails over this manicure. I’m giving up hope on manicures in Niagara Falls. Another salon in the city screwed up my nails so badly, I had to resort to acrylic. This was the 2nd manicure since having the acrylic removed. My fingers hurt. Now I’m afraid I might need to go back to the darn acrylic. Not happy. Edit: And now my nail bed is infected. More likely I will just stop getting manicures altogether. This is insane.

Absolutely beautiful place with such pleasant, talented staff. Their pricing is unbelievably reasonable — honestly the best I’ve seen anywhere in the Niagara region. I had a full spa shellac pedicure for a price I almost feel guilty paying, and it was phenomenal! Victoria did an amazing job, and I’m genuinely excited to come back for my next manicure. Highly recommend Lavish Nails on Thorold Stone Road!

The ladies who work there are super kind, unfortunately some are not skilled at doing nails :( This French tip set took an hour and a half, they had to redo my nails twice. 3 people had to work on this set because all of them kept messing up over and over again. AND they made me pay BEFORE even starting my nails which was interesting… won’t be back unfortunately

This is hands down the best nail salon I have ever been to — and I’ve been getting my nails done for over 15 years. The customer service is absolutely outstanding, every staff member is welcoming, attentive, and goes above and beyond to make you feel comfortable. The quality of work is unmatched. My nails have never looked better — precise, flawless, and long-lasting every single time. I’ve tried many salons in Niagara Falls and St. Catharines, and nothing comes close to the experience here. If you’re looking for a salon that truly cares about both the details of their work and their clients, this is the place. I won’t go anywhere else now — highly recommend!

So upset with my nails. they look okay from far away i suppose but some are different lengths and shapes. i’m not sure if my artist was hard of seeing but the french tips are atrociously uneven. the flowers look like if barney took a poop on my nails, and for some reason she just put gems on them?? i hate the feeling of having something 3D on my nails and she did it without asking. by this point we were nearing the end of the nails and i had already asked her to fix so many things that i felt bad asking, plus this took almost 2 hours and i was over it. i paid $60 for these without tip, which i felt bad about because i always tip but i am stuck with these on me till who knows what im gonna do with them. my last girl here did such a good job. this place really is a 50/50 chance because i know some who hate it and some who love it.
