View on GoogleMe and my sister went shopping for prom dresses. This was meant to be a fun day trying on fancy dresses but unfortunately that was not the experience we had. The sales associate was rude and treated us as though we were trying to steal. We saw her talking and pointing at us with other workers and my sister felt so uncomfortable she refused to leave the dressing room when trying on dresses. We found a beautiful dress and when we tried to ask about different Color's or sizes she ignored our questions and walked away rolling her eyes. This was absolutely disgusting behavior on her behalf. We were being nothing but nice to her and for some reason we couldn’t get the same respect back.
View on GoogleI want to start this off by saying I got the most wonderful dress for an amazing price but it costed my dignity as well. I went into this store with my boyfriend. I had a group of photos on my phone of which ones I wanted to try on (I am on a plus size side so it’s hard to find choices that aren’t all flowers or black). The sales associate (Nicole (name that it said on my receipt) I’m sorry if it wasn’t her) was very snippy and kept saying things like “that’s not your style” or “we don’t have that size” okay well 1. You don’t know my style and 2. That’s fine if it isn’t in my size I can find something different. I tried on a dress that was number one on my list and it was super discounted. SOLD. I said my budget was a certain amount that she pulled dresses that were double the cost. I paid for the dress and was given a bag but my mother went hours after me and received a garment bag. So why was I any “special”? The event that her and I needed a dress for is in the same timeline. I’m not keeping a bag on my floor for the next 8 months. When we left my boyfriend made me aware that the associate kept saying rude things about me under her breath. If the associates can’t be nice to people they are helping then there needs to be management intervention about how to properly treat customers.
View on GoogleVery impressive store. Huge with tonnes of variety. The employees are very helpful and nice. Aesthetically very beautiful and super well organized. One of the best Laura stores I have visited in Ontario. Highly recommended.
