Lash + HeadSpa Suite

This review is directed to the owner. I had a confirmed 12:15 PM appointment today. The day before, I received a text rescheduling my appointment from 10:45 AM to 12:15 PM, which I agreed to so you clearly had my correct phone number. When I arrived on time, I was told I “didn’t have an appointment” and that I was “in the wrong place.” I have been there before, so that was incorrect. After going back and forth, it was suddenly remembered that Makayla “was supposed to cancel” because she wasn’t coming in due to her pet being ill. Let me be clear I have empathy for personal emergencies. That is not the issue. The issue is that no one contacted me. No call. No text. Nothing. When the owner called Makayla while I was standing there, she answered her phone immediately which shows she was reachable. So the explanation that my number was wrong makes no sense, especially since I received a rescheduling text the day before. Instead of a sincere apology, I was met with defensiveness and told I could “find somewhere else to go.” I was also told “maybe you’re not our type of client” when I asked about eyebrow tint services. As a Black woman, that comment was extremely uncomfortable and inappropriate. There was no remorse, no soft approach, no effort to make things right. I rearranged my day to be there and had plans that evening. My time was completely disregarded. On top of that, I was told I would have to wait several days for my refund despite this being the business’s mistake. Emergencies happen. Poor communication and dismissive treatment of clients should not. I hope the owner reflects on how this was handled and improves client communication and professionalism moving forward.

My sister and I went together to try out the headspa here. We left feeling so happy with how relaxing and positive the experience was. Our hair smelt amazing! Thank you for such a wonderful morning… we will be back!

Such a wonderful experience all around. I had a head spa experience and hydration boost. Desiree was so kind and professional, I left feeling so relaxed and my hair feels so soft and happy. The space was very welcoming and cozy!

Mak is fantastic!! She’s done my lift & tint repeatedly as well as brown shape and wax and I always feel so beautiful leaving her studio; recently had a full head of tinsel which is absolutely stunning, she did such a wonderful job :) her studio is so cute and clean and welcoming, from my very first appointment it felt like I’d been a regular forever… I will never go anywhere else, 10/10 for this lovely girl and her fantastic business

I had such an amazing experience at HaloHeaven Head Spa Suite. April and Dessarai were absolutely amazing. They took their time with the treatment and explained every step. The place is so clean and aesthetically pleasing, their products are clean and smell divine! Definitely going back again!!
