My Mom passed away and we were going to have the property surveyed cause we were going to build a fence and needed to know our property line. They never showed up and we ended up deciding on selling instead. So I called and cancelled and asked for him to please refund me the $500 Deposit in Full...that I was good enough to make. And he said ok he would fully refund. I come home from work a few days later and there are little flags on the property... I thought the city was marking the property since we are a "corner" house..next to a building and we had cancelled the service and were awaiting our $500 cheque. He was supposed to cancel ..that wasn't our fault 😡 And then when we get the cheque it's for $175.... I could understand him possibly keeping $50.... But the service was supposed to be cancelled and I don't know if he failed to call and they showed up coincidentally 🙄 ..or if he put a rush on the surveying job that I cancelled ..regardless. I reached out with no response. I was busy dealing w our Mothers Estate and the Selling of the house and I forgot to deposit the cheque..and it expired...like I don't have enough to deal with So I sent another email asking that he reimburse us what we were supposed to be originally reimbursed..$500....or at the very least be a decent person and reissue the cheque I was sent Still no reply. People have enough to deal with when someone the love passes away...and don't need others taking advantage of our hard times. All I wanted is what was ours in the first place the $500. He did seem nice at first and had said yes about refunding it in full...but that was then...and what was issued to us is another and then bring ignored is unacceptable and unprofessional to say the least. So even giving 1* is too much 😡 Dissatisfied Person
