Lakewinds Country Manor

My wife and I stayed at Lakewinds for one Fall weekend (late October). It was a TERRFIC experience. Steve and Thelma (the hosts) are wonderful people. Their dedication to the property, its amenities, the breakfast and the overall homely vibe was thoroughly enjoyable. We were there during Covid times, but we felt safe and at peace in their BnB. Wonderful rooms. An Amazing backyard with a pool. And best of all, it's just a 5 minute walk to downtown Niagara-on-the-Lake. Everything is close by and quite picturesque. I would recommend this beautiful spot every day of the week. We will definitely come back.

Lakewinds Country Manor is a beautiful, clean, quiet place with a friendly, kind staff. Beautiful area with cute shops and restaurants within walking distance. Breakfast was delicious. We would definitely go again. Biking, hiking and wineries nearby, not to mention the Falls. It's a perfect couples retreat.

My daughter brought me for a few days to celebrate my 70th birthday. From the moment we entered it was fantastic. Steve and Thelma (the owners) are both warm and lovely. Their home (the B&B) is gorgeous and beautifully decorated. We stayed in “Gustav” which had a very comfortable four-poster bed, two comfortable chairs and footstools which looked out over the golf course and lake. EVERYTHING was perfect! Our breakfasts were very gourmet and delicious and the breakfast room was cheerful and beautifully appointed with fresh linens bright sunshine. Both of us will return again, next time bringing our husbands.

Where do I even begin? Our stay was incredible! My fiance and I stayed at Lakewinds Country Manor from August 11 - 13, 2018 and it was one of the most enjoyable getaways we've ever had! The location is perfect, across from a golf course and just a few minutes walk to the downtown strip. The breakfast was amazing, the room and en suite were stunning and super comfortable, and the hospitality was first class. Lakewinds is elegant and luxurious, but it still feels like a cozy home. It was almost like staying with family, yet we still had more than enough privacy to enjoy our romantic getaway. Thelma and Steve are two of the kindest, sweetest and most accommodating people we've met on our travels as well. They were warm and welcoming, and truly genuine people. They're lovely conversationalists and will give you great suggestions for experiencing NOTL and all it has to offer. Thank you so much for the hospitality, we will definitely come back again! K&D

This place was magical. I came for a getaway with my new husband and it was everything I could have imagined and more. The gardens are picturesque, the breakfast in the morning...wonderful so delicious, the people .. so kind and accommodating. The shops are just a walk away, lots of yummy pubs and restaurants and bikes available to go for a cruise and check out the rest of the town. We will 100% be back.. hopefully with the rest of our family next year ! Thank you Lakewinds for a wonderful time.
