Lakeview Retirement Centre

Nothing but positive things to say about the team at Lakeview. My father needed to move into the assisted living here during the start of COVID. Lakeview at that time had better protocols than the hospitals did at the initial outbreak. Mark (Owner), Natasha (Dir. Of Care), and Iryna (RN) are the people I deal with most and I trust them all to ensure my father's needs are properly being met but all the staff I deal with have been excellent. Highly recommended.

My mom has been living at Lakeview Senior’s Residence for 8 months. The owner Mark and all of the staff are fabulous. Everyone is so caring and kind.They go above and beyond to look after the residents.The meals are excellent and a great variety. The building is very clean and well maintained. Lots of activities. Excellent facility. Thank you to everyone for making Lakeview such a special place for our loved ones.

Our mother Mildred moved to Lakeview 2 1/2 months ago and we are so grateful we found this superb facility. The owner Mark runs a fine-tuned operation. The staff are professional and so caring . My Mom loves the food served in a bright and airy dining room .She has a cozy one bedroom apartment with a balcony and feels right at home. The activity coordinator has established an amazing full schedule with something for everyone. Mom is living her best life thanks to Lakeview.

I am forever grateful to all the staff at Lakeview for the OUTSTANDING care my mother received over the past year. Through their kindness and compassion they supported all of my mother’s needs. The staff here are dedicated and go above and beyond providing a “family home” to all their residents. By far this is the BEST place for your loved one. I had been searching for an accommodation for myself, a single senior, to move to when my apartment lease ends in a few months. I feel I'm now at the stage in which assisted living is appropriate. When I requested a tour of Lakeview Retirement Centre I was greeted warmly by Mark, the owner who took the time to show me all of the facilities available to residents and even treated me to lunch. What I took away from this place was a warm feeling. I saw lots of smiling faces on both residents and staff .It had a "homey" feel to it. During the delicious lunch I had a chance to speak to a few residents about their length of residency, their level of comfort, the level of cleanliness, the quality of meals etc. and all gave Lakeview high marks. Those who had cars also mentioned the proximity to outside activities. I have seen half a dozen retirement home during my search and Lakeview in Stoney Creek, I believe, offers the best in hospitality, cleanliness, variety of services, and quality of meals for your dollar. In a phrase " A great place to call home".
