Lake & Carlton Laundromat

Not a great experience. Several machines were out of service, which made doing laundry frustrating. The laundromat also looked quite dirty, especially around the machines and corners where there was visible buildup. A laundromat should be clean and have functioning equipment, and unfortunately this location fell short on both. I hope management starts maintaining the machines and cleaning the space more regularly.

This place has gotten horrible. Dirty, no toilet paper in bathroom, no hand soap, no paper towel or disinfectant for tables, half of machines broken or malfunctioning. Nobody here to reimburse you for lost money. 4$ to 6$ loss every time you lose money on washer. Absolutely unacceptable. Today November 11 nobody is here, no note why, they recently extended hours 5am to 3am. I guess it's not about profit and screwing up clientele. Very dissatisfied customer Dec 1. Same situation. Dryer 11 not working properly . Washer #4 took money never started. Again we lost money.

Washers have a smell, dryers take forever to dry a load of laundry. Music is uncensored so dont being your kids if you dont want them listening to dirty music. Machines take quarters or card so there's that.. coin machine works though so..

Very poor hygiene and maintenance. I recently visited lake / Caltron coin laundry and was quite disappointed. Many of the washing machines and dryers were visibly dirty, and there were a lot of flies around the area, which made the experience very unpleasant. It didn’t look like the place had been cleaned properly for a long time. Cleanliness should be a top priority, especially in a place where people come to wash their clothes. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and improves the hygiene and overall maintenance of the facility. Until then, I wouldn’t recommend this laundry to others.

Overall this is a clean facility and and really easy to find. I'm traveling through Canada so one of my primary goals was to find a laundromat that accepted credit cards. I believe all the washers accepted credit cards and about five of the dryers will too. So I was really happy about that but my only complaint is the washing machines. I might have overloaded the washing machine the first time around so I actually split my load up into two loads the second time around. While watching the machines there still wasn't a lot of water in them the second time either. Granted my clothes were wet and I believe they're clean but definitely don't load the front loaders more than halfway. Even with that I still would recommend this facility.
