Korean BBQ Town

Absolutely amazing. While I was initially a bit off put by the cost, the owner and staff made it well worth it. In a world practically infected with corporate, mass-produced food I had a welcome departure at Korean BBQ Town. There's actual love and passion put into the food and service here, and I'd recommend you try it at LEAST once simply for the experience. Me and my friends had a really great time, and this is one place I'll definitely miss in Niagara.

Our party of 4 visited Korean BBQ Town for the first time since the new ownership - 2 of us had visited previously, and 2 of us had never had Korean BBQ before. Our party agreed that this experience was an absolute 10/10. The food is all incredible - we had oysters, mussel soup, various banchan dishes (kimchi, radish, potatoes, carrots, etc). They make all of their side dishes - we ordered MULTIPLE of the kimchi because it was so good. We tried their pork belly and the rib eye steak which was grilled by the chef/owner - both of these were excellent. We also ordered spicy bulgogi, garlic bulgogi, marinated pork, and other meat options to cook on the grill ourselves. All of these were incredible - the marinates and quality of meat meant that every single dish was incredible. You could not pick incorrectly here. For those who enjoy Korean Soju - there are a number of choices to pick from - apple, peach, yogurt, etc. The BBQs are authentic charcoal BBQs which adds to the experience and flavour of the meat. This does mean you sit outside, but the patio is heated and cozy - even on a chilly winter day, this was not an issue for us. We were tended to regularly by our wonderful server, Tessa. We were told she was a new server, but she was so attentive we would have never guessed she was new if she hadn't told us! She was great at keeping drinks filled and ensuring our eating area was kept clear of used plates. She was also really fun and we enjoyed having her as our server! This was not a cheap meal but for the quality of the food and the attentiveness of both the owner and our server, this was well worth it. We will definitely return with more of our friends and family. Highly recommend.

We dropped in to Korean BBQ Town on a whim and ordered the all-you-can-eat Korean barbecue dinner. The food was very high quality and delicious including the meat, dipping dishes for the meat, the vegetables (to grill), the complimentary side dishes including kimchi, the prepared dishes, and the desserts. They offer drinks as à la carte items and some à la carte dishes as well, but we just had the AYCE. The staff members who served us were friendly and attentive. The first picture shows a pork belly AYCE dish. It comes raw because it is cooked at the table. Second picture shows some of the desserts.

Cant say enough great things about this special find! From the moment we walked in we felt welcomed, and appreciated the love and care put into everything that came to the table! Truly a delicious meal from the house smoked pork and the super tender spicy chicken to the kimchi and all the other homemade side dishes! A phenomenal experience! I would definitely consider myself a "foodie" my husband and I have lived all over the world (to include South Korea) and LOVE when we find Authentic foods. My friend had never had KBBQ before and now I fear that she will be disappointed in ANY other place she may go. The owner/cheff and staff were AMAZING. Hands down the best dining experience I have had in years. The food was so fresh and Authentic, I wish I could have eaten more! Yes, it is not cheap, but it is Extremely well priced for what you get. I don't know anyone who goes for oysters, shrimp, fresh, homemade sides and sauces etc. Looking for "cheap". In America this would be excellently priced and the norm for the quality of food and atmosphere of this restaurant. Honestly, best restaurant experience I have had in a decade! Thank you so much ♡♡♡
