Was a nice stop for a simple diner meal - came for the atmosphere and wanting that diner experience and Knowles was a great stop on a rainy day. Had a classic BLT and fries. The gravy wasn’t great but the blueberry milkshake was a nice surprise. The prices were surprisingly affordable- like they haven’t changed the prices in years.

🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮 i wish that I didn’t have to leave a star. The home fries were cold 🥶, the breakfast was disgusting, the milkshake was water shake, the steak tasted old and it had a very nasty smell 🤢. The pancakes tasted like flower and water, no flavour or taste. All staff need to be fired. The place needs to be lifted up and tossed into the grand river. It was just a horrible experience and I’m hoping that no one makes the same mistake I did by stepping foot in there. I wish I had seen Maya Harris review before I went in there . And I will let everyone know, never to step foot into KNOWLES restaurant. I guess my dogs were happy, cause my kids didn’t even get to eat breakfast. Thanks a lot. 🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮

Not impressed. Not accessible. No Visa or debit. Close by 4pm every day. Decor is simply old, rather than retro. Menus look like they are from the 50's (battered and worn). Food was cold. Lacked flavor. Need I go on? People were pleasant and we love "diners" so only 2/5 rather than 1/5.

Beautiful vintage 50's diner. It's Iike stepping into a time machine. Beautiful old wooden booths, a long formica lunch counter with vintage swivle stools, to sit on and sip your soda or shake. The food is freshly made and excellent. I was very impressed with their club sandwich, served with crispy, fresh cut fries, and a delightful coleslaw. 5/5. The service is very friendly, and our food came quick and hot. This is an absolute must stop on your way to or through Dunnville. PROTIP: This restaurant was used in the Stephen King show,11.22.63 starring James Franco.
