****Caution Very Sad Puppy In This Review**** This is not a negative review. This is just our experience with this survey company. A few months ago we purchased a newly constructed home which was built by a local builder. We moved into our new home with our lovable puppy Dogstable Abbey. For the first few months Abbey was surrounded by a Baron landscape as she waited the delivery of her lush beautiful pillow like sod yard to arrive. All Abbey ever wanted was to run around a fenced in yard filled with soft pillow like grass. As the days and weeks went by our puppy could be seen sitting at the window, envisioning hours upon hours of joyful play and relaxation. Our puppy seemingly filled each day with more and more excitement of her dreams coming true. On one beautiful sunny day our sod arrived! Abbey leaped up with joy! She was so content, bursting with happiness! We were all so excited!!! We couldn't wait to begin planning the new fence for Abbey's to enjoy her soft pillow like grassy paradise. Abbey filled with excitement presented her many great ideas for her fenced in paradise. Abbey worked tirelessly in the for coming days, researching and creating plans for the perfect puppy sanctuary to enjoy her days. At last the plans were complete! Abbey did it! Abbey came up with the perfect fence to enjoy a funny filled back yard! As the preparations began to transform Abbey's dream paradise into reality, we called the local surveyor who drafted the original survey for our home builder. We spoke on the phone sharing Abbey's vision of her backyard paradise! We couldn't believe how excited and professional Kirkup Masco Ure seemed to be over the phone. At last Abbey's backyard paradise was within reach! It was really going to happen. The survey company is going to come and survey Abbey's yard. The only thing now that stood between Abbey's never ending happiness was to await for the Surveyors quote! Abbey was bursting with content. Finally her dreams of running around on her plush yard without the confines of a leash were transpiring! Abbey was so happy! ***Insert happy music which transitions to sad music*** As the Weeks went by, Abbey would wake up every morning as if it each day was Christmas! "Is it here, is the surveyors quote here" as her voice filled with joy. Hanging on to hope the quote would soon arrive I would reply "Sorry Abbey not today, I'm sure they are just busy, maybe tomorrow" After weeks of no reply, we called Kirkup Masco Ure. Surely there must be some simple mistake, possibly the quote was sent to the wrong email address or perhaps lost in the mail. As the phone rang Abbey sat patiently building with excitement! The phone is answered with a "Hello". Abbey's ears perked upped and she sat straight with a grin! I explained on the phone that we have not received our quote for our survey. *Insert villain music* "Oh you haven't got a quote" the company snickered. "Guess that means we aren't going to survey you're dogs yard". Abbey was floored by the response. Abbey waited weeks for the company to provide the quote. Abbey could not believe that the company would not reach out with a courtesy phone call to tell Abbey that they were no longer coming! Abbey's was devastated by the news. Devistated that she had to continue being restricted by a leash as she lavished in the sun. Abbey sat saddened by door. Again not a negative review just Abbey's experience with this Surveyor.

They persevered and completed a difficult survey of my property in an old neighborhood. I have no doubt that the job went well over and above their original estimate yet I was never asked for, or charged, any extra fees. Integrity like that is hard to come by. They were also very helpful with advice regarding what to do if a neighbor removes one of the stakes.

I have dealt with Kirkup and Ure for many years. Always professional, kind and polite. Great services and fast turn around always.

Owning multiple properties in St.Catharines, Niagara falls and Thorold - we often require surveyors to facilitate deals and transactions. Kirkup Mascoe Ure has always been able to respond quickly and help us with great professionalism.

Mr. Kirkup's company was paid to survey my property in Beamsville On., however, it was not completed. I called and spoke with Mr. Kirkup four times over the duration of a year and still no progress was made to remedy the situation. Finally Mr. Kirkup informed me that if I wanted the job completed to my satisfaction that I would have to pay a fee; in additional to the original cost, (that was paid in full), at my expense. I refused to pay an additional fee and the job was never completed. However, he was paid in full. Mr. Kirkup did not offer up a reasonable solution and no compromise was ever made. The job remains incomplete and he was paid for his services. Thanks for taking the time to read my post.
