Drivers need more training and manors. The driver this morning took quite a bit of time trying to back into a driveway in my street this morning, which I was fine to stay back and wait for. However the driver decided not to pull into the driveway and instead pulled back out onto the road and PARKED with his flashers on at the stop sign. He proceeded to leave his truck at complete disregard for the line of cars behind his truck waiting to cross the intersection. In order to pass his truck I had to pull completely into the opposite lane blocking anyone trying to turn onto the street. I did roll my window down and told the guy he was parked in a bad location blocking the stop sign, he put his hand up to me as to stop me from talking, told me he was busy working, and walked away! Great place to get a few bucks for your scrap metal. People running this place are great and very helpful. They even take broken or burnt laptops or other electronics. Last I checked in late 2023 was they took metal for around $0.50 per half pound, but please check with them for the latest prices as the price changes every month or week. I am never throwing the metal at Walkers now. They don't pick up the metal scrap from your home but can share a contact for someone who can do that.
