Keefer Mansion Inn

Keefer Mansion is the most wonderful place to visit in the whole world!

Great place to go to, great food and great staff working there, had an awesome time!

Great atmosphere in the restaurant and bar. Food was delicious and service was always helpful. Lighting was alittle too dark for my liking though

My experience at the Keefer mansion was great I went for a project about its haunting. I went with my grandfather and my tour guide was Kyle he was very nice. I got the chance of being able to go in the basement of the old estate of mansion as most would call it it was a very good learning experience to me.

We went to a discussion dinner meeting with Frank Leslie as speaker. The price prepaid was $55. The food was inedible; the one included glass of wine was very poor quality, the chicken leg entree was blood red beneath the skin, the salad was a few strips of carrot (artistically arranged), the dessert was gelatinous. No one ate their meal including the owner and his family! The owner kept everyone's full price of $55 not offering any return and even called up people who hadn't paid in advance to get the money after the fact. Apparently they needed each and every dollar - a very short term approach to marketing. Certainly not a recipe for return customers or the appearance that this was a one off mistake and that they recognized it as such and apologized. Not surprisingly they are doing badly financially. You really need a professional marketing manager and a professional restaurant manager and a professional chef if you want to succeed in the hospitality industry - even in Thorold.
