Amazing service, great food will definitely be back again! We had the chicken supreme and the Reuben. Both were delicious. Thanks Kame and Kettle! It’s so nice to have this spot in our backyard:)

I learned about this location on a Guess Where Trip in the summer. Ultimately we chose to visit because they had a dog friendly patio. I enjoyed it so much that I invited some friends there for dinner. Friendly service and amazing food. Grabbed a few cans to go too. I would recommend making a reservation. They seem to be a popular spot.

Update based on restaurant response: When you say options were discussed and that we signaled we were “good with it,” that was not the case. At that point, we simply chose the least disruptive path to finish the meal. That shouldn’t be interpreted as satisfaction — it was resignation. You absolutely had the opportunity to right the ship in-house. We stayed, remained calm, and gave multiple chances for it to be handled properly. The gesture of removing the extra taco did not reflect the seriousness of a food allergy issue. This review wasn’t posted because a mistake occurred — it was posted because of how it was handled. I hope this feedback is taken in that spirit. Original post: Very disappointing experience. Ordered two entrees to share and added an extra taco so we each had 2, which they accommodated the request, beer was very good…all good so far. Now the bad, the shrimp tacos came out with nuts on the salad, no mention of nuts on the menu and we informed the waitress of a nut allergy. Our waitress did not drop the food so we told the waitress who dropped the food, she spoke to the kitchen and we could hear the kitchen being dismissive and suggesting it was our fault. She came back and suggested I couldn’t eat anything on the plate as the nuts were all over, but I could just place another order for more tacos. Meaning nothing they were doing to accommodate their mistake. I told her that I informed our waitress of the allergy, she spoke to our waitress who suggested they would make a new salad and I could eat the tacos, which was not what the first waitress suggested, and the worst suggestion I have ever received in this situation. I decided to just no longer share and eat one of the meals. This was handed extremely poorly, frankly the worst I have ever experienced. They did a very minor gesture and not charge for the extra taco, not the whole dish just the extra one added. This could have been handled much differently but hearing the conversation with the cook and how they handled it overall was very bad, this happens at other restaurants and I don’t get upset but 99% of the time the staff rectify the situation properly, not here.

FABULOUS! We were a tad hesitant to pop in here for lunch, as after an initial glance at the menu online, we thought it might be somewhat limited. We were so glad we gave it a try. The food was absolutely delishcious! The daily special soup, was THE BEST soup I think I have ever had..truly outstanding, it was that good! Split pea, with bacon crumble, and a warm crusty hunk of baguette. Followed by a spicy beef burrito which was also excellent. My partner had the Tomahawk pork chop and mashed potatoes, amazing. We even followed it up with a hefty slice of decadent dessert…warm, sticky toffee pudding, topped with whipped cream. Plus a great selection of interesting beverages, including some creative and delicious mocktails (which are somewhat hard to come by these days). It was all so wonderful I had to pop back into the kitchen to shake the chef’s hand (Mark?). The host (owner?) was also very knowledgable, attentive, and friendly. Just GO! You will love it. Thank you guys, and next time we are in town we will definitely be back.
