Kaizen Sushi & Ramen

This place is an absolute gem. We just moved to Fort Erie and we've already been twice within a week. It's difficult to find good ramen in Niagara, let alone GREAT ramen. Their selection of sushi rolls, and ramen, as well as daily specials made this place one of my favourites of all time. The ambiance is amazing, feels like you're in a boogey Toronto or Montreal restaurant, without the price tag. The customer service is top notch as well, they gave us some tempura ice cream (that tasted INCREDIBLE) just as a welcome as first time visitors. You have to check this place out!

When you go to a chain restaurant that does sushi, it's usually a consistent and unsurprising experience — which can be good! A consistent product that anyone could enjoy, or at least have their hunger sated. In terms of flavour alone, Kaizen stands head and shoulders above any other sushi-serving establishment that I can speak about from my own experience. Whether Kaizen the best around, or just the best overall, is immaterial. Friendly staff, quick service, incredible food and appropriate price keeps me coming back for the foreseeable future. I came here yesterday. I came here the day before. I'm here right now! if you're in the Southern Niagara region and you have either never had sushi before or you already love sushi in general, I urge you to make a pilgrimage to this top-notch, family-owned flavour kitchen. Lovely place, lovely taste and lovely service. Must try for authentic Asian cravings. Well kept and clean place for dine in. Close to the border as well when heading in or out of Canada.

What a lovely sushi place! Prices are decent too. The sushi was good. Not a big fan of the imitation crab tempura but my son ordered it and he liked it. The spicy calamari was a bit of a let down, there wasn't alot and it wasn't spicy. The salmon sashimi was melt in your mouth delicious. Looking forward to going back to try some ramen! The service was great, our server was very attentive. Would definitely recommend.

Kaizen is such a gem in our town! The food is incredibly fresh — especially the sashimi, which was melt-in-your-mouth delicious. I absolutely loved pairing it with their sake selection; it was a perfect match. The service was also outstanding. The staff were so friendly, attentive, and made the whole dining experience feel warm and welcoming. It’s rare to find this level of quality and hospitality in this small town. Highly recommend for anyone who loves Japanese cuisine. I’ll definitely be coming back!
