My experience was terrible.I took my granddaughter to have a fun experience and have our nails done. We had the older woman stationed at the very back on the left had side. We felt rushed from the moment we started. Rushed to pick our nail colour and rushed through the whole process. The woman used a nail file on each of my nails on the sides so rough causing redness and skin irritation, leaving one of my fingers red and quite sore. This is not a relaxing nail salon. The service is terrible and they need to do better with paying customers. Maybe I just got unlucky and had the wrong person do our nails. Employ staff who care and take pride in their job with customers. Never again. DON’T WAST YOUR MONEY HERE!! So many other great salons to go to.

Absolutely loved my experience at this nail salon! The entire team is fantastic, but my favourite is Yen. I love her work and the way she does nails, her attention to detail is unmatched. She’s also incredibly respectful and kind, making the experience even better. The salon is clean and relaxing. My nails turned out beautifully, and I’ll definitely be back. Highly recommend!

I don’t generally like leaving bad reviews but after having a terrible experience at this place, I figured I could save some people some trouble. After hearing about an infection my co-worker got from this place, I went against my better judgement to give them the benefit of the doubt. I booked to remove my bio-gel nails and a manicure to give my nails time to recover. I booked with Alex who I had a pleasant experience with once before but I didn’t even get her. Instead, I saw the older lady who I heard terrible things about and she only proved them right. My appointment felt rushed. The moment she started removing the bio gel nails, I knew something wasn’t right. She was using a sharp cuticle nipper to get in between my real nails and the bio gel nails. The purpose of removing them was to give my nails relief, not to have them butchered. She was aggressive and when I pulled back because she was applying too much pressure, she called me a baby and that I was the only person that ever complained. I have a high threshold for pain but zero tolerance for disrespect. I’m paying for a service. Not to be chastised by another grown woman who proceeded to speak Vietnamese after I was clearly already distressed and all the other nail techs just kept looking at me. I felt humiliated. I’ve been getting my nails done for over 20 years. This is the only nail salon I’ve ever left a bad review for. On top of that, I had my nails done here a few weeks ago and saw Annie for the same bio gel nails. It chipped 2 days later and when I came in to get it fixed, she insisted that they cracked because my nails were acrylic. Again, I’ve been going to nail salons for over 20 years, I think I know what I paid for every single time I came in for an appointment. Today’s appointment was the straw that broke the camel’s back. I’m infuriated at the level and quality of service I received. The place is like lipstick on a pig, if you ask me. Unprofessional. Save your money and go elsewhere.

I have been getting my nails done regularly for a long time and have been searching for the right salon because I was never feeling like I was leaving with what I asked or I felt super rushed. JY nails was the most amazing experience! They took their time, were incredibly friendly and so very talented. My daughter and her friend got cute designs on their tiny nails and they spent so much time getting them absolutely perfect for them! So happy to have found this salon!
