Our first and last visit, unfortunately. Wanted to love it.. A bit confusing upon entrance. Not sure where line began or ended. No menu just a light board with hand written items. Ordered a bagel with cream cheese, tomato, and avacado. Bagel was breifly shown a toaster or broiler since it was only top toasted, very lightly. Avacado was some sort of commercial manufacturered tasting guacamole squirted from a pastry bag. Cream cheese was light but good. Ordered green tea lemonade. Found out after being given a glass with brewed green tea that " oh looks like we don't have any lemonade ". Then found out much later, it was a seasonal item they no longer had and "he should have never let you order" it. Had to reorder on the fly, based on a Google search since they don't seem to have menus anywhere. Smoothie was ok, it was room temperature, however. Ordered a turkey apple butter sandwich. Was asked if I wanted havarti and I said yeah that sounds like a good choice. Found out they were "out of turkey ". Maybe erase it from your light board then? Was offered "deli ham". Declined. Ordered a grill cheese on the fly since i remember seeing it on the board. It was also barely toasted/grilled. A pickle spear and handful of cheap potato chips (and I don't say that lightly, I adore chips) were also on the plate. Ordered ice tea. Never got it. Drank lukewarm water in a tiny paper cup from the spout jug at the counter. All of this while my dinning companion sat at a table and I ran between the table and the counter. Asked for my ice tea and was met with confused stare. Asked for a refund of the ice tea, the difference of cost between the turkey and grill cheese. One staff sighed heavily and rolled her eyes not letting me finish before walking away and another staff stepped in. I repeated that I would pay for what I had but would like a refund for what I didn't. The same 2nd staff came to our table, apologized refunding most of our costs.
View on GoogleThe drinks are so sweet, too sweet actually for my liking. The wait was long, the prices are high, and we sat outside, it was hot and not all tables had umbrellas for shade. We were waiting for another person to meet us and were all just sweating trying to get out of the sun . Couldn’t wait to get out of there. Most drinks were dumped in the garbage.
View on GoogleJunction Coffee Bar is a spacious, bright, and very clean place and perfect for relaxing or getting some work done. The atmosphere is welcoming, the service is friendly, and the coffee is excellent. You can feel the good vibes from the staff. Express Linen Laundry Inc.
View on GoogleJunction Coffee Bar is the coffee shop you wish you had in your neighbourhood. Tables along the wall have handy electrical outlets for laptops and soft seating is available but the highlite is tough to choose. They roast their own coffee beans (which is excellent), bake their own scones and muffins (delicious) and make their own filling sandwiches in house. The quality of the food is is excellent and exceeded only by the humour and service of the staff. If you are in the neighbourhood I HIGHLY suggest stopping by! (And our server Abby deserves a bonus for being so friendly and professional!)
View on GoogleThe latte flight was a really fun experience! They have some really unique flavours and it seems they change them every so often. The space itself is very cozy and bright and the service was good too.
