Looking for windshield washer fluid and didn’t find it. Its a nice store. Clean stacked and produce fresh. We were travelling so didn’t really shop but noticed and sharing.
View on GoogleWent there on the first day of the flyer and several advertised items were already out of stock. Staff didn't care and were unhelpful when I asked about this. Store is run down and having to get past the vagrants parked at the front door feels unsafe.
View on GoogleTo start with, I wish I could have the option to give a negative rating because I don’t want to give this store even 1 rating. Poor management, especially the store manager or shift manager, the tall guy — now I understand why he doesn’t have a name tag. Very rude, lazy and unprofessional. I would like to share my worst experience during today's visit. I put my shopping card on one side, so I didn’t bother others; and, he told me to move my shopping cart very rudely, as he had to 1 small item which he could do without moving the cart. Very unprofessional and he doesn’t know how to talk to their customers. I don’t understand why the management is not doing anything after getting negative reviews from multiple customers regarding their employees. I am writing my review after seeing poor service from the same manager multiple times. I hope he will learn from this review how to talk to their customers, especially when they are older than him. Lastly, I will never come back to the store as there are other good options such as FreshCo and Walmart.
View on GoogleOne of my favorite no frills to shop despite being on the smaller side. Great prices and generally always stocked well. Produce is fresh. Lacks a bit on the meat department and not too many choices.
View on GoogleJim’s No Frills on Lundy’s Lane seriously needs some attention—starting with the management. About half the staff are friendly and helpful, and I truly appreciate those employees who go out of their way to assist customers. But the other half? Rude, lazy, and act like they’re doing you a favor just by showing up to work. The produce section is the worst I’ve seen—moldy fruits, wilted greens, and expired items that clearly haven’t been checked in days. It’s obvious no one is walking the floor to remove spoiled items or keep things fresh. On top of that, essential items are constantly out of stock, like no one is managing inventory or placing proper orders. I’ve also had staff tell me flat out that something wasn’t in stock—only to find it myself minutes later. On other occasions, I’ve been sent to the wrong aisle and had to track things down on my own. It’s frustrating and makes the store feel chaotic and poorly run. Sure, the location may not be in the most desirable part of town, but that doesn’t excuse the interior looking and feeling just as neglected. This store has potential, but it needs proper training, consistent standards, and a manager who actually pays attention. Whether it’s Jim the owner or the team he’s put in place, something needs to change.
