Very bad and disappointing experience. The company was unprofessional from the beginning, with no commitment to deadlines and no clear or consistent information. Every time I asked a question, I received a different answer with a lot of talk and very little actual follow-through. Customer service was weak, and once the deal was made, it felt like I was completely on my own. Honestly, I do not recommend dealing with them. There are much better and more reliable real estate companies out there.

We are so happy to have John as our designer! He is extremely knowledgeable in what he does, and we feel we are in such great hands and we totally trust him! He is also very patient, kind, and caring, and even going beyond to make sure everything works well for us! Such dedication is rare to find! We highly recommend him!

John is an excellent designer with a wealth of experience! He knows what can and can’t be done and is very familiar with best building practices. John has been very patient and considerate in his communication and has always delivered a successful permit in a timely manner – even when the city requires unexpected changes! We used JK Home Inspection for a pre purchase inspection. John was so responsive and professional. The inspection was very thorough and informative. John was patient and answered all of our questions. He was so knowledgeable and pleasant throughout the entire process. He followed up with a full report and willingness to answer our follow up questions. I would use John again in future and would recommend his services. Thank you again.

Very disappointed with John. We had plans of using his BCIN services to design our 3rd unit conversion and he did not once go to the property to measure, to take pictures or to confirm if it was suitable for a conversion in the first place. He had asked me to pretty much do all the measurements for him and the pictures, and had taken months of going back and forth only to have our business unfinished and terminated. We had asked for our payment back as he did not deliver the services that was listed in his contract, and he was not professional enough to reply back to that email. It is very difficult to do this as he is very personable personally and I actually quite liked John but when it comes to his services, he was just putting us off because "he was too busy", "inundated with projects", etc. It ended up costing us our fee for the service and our time as he apparently does not seem to want to give our money back for the services that was not received and fulfilled.
