I was here for the OSAP protest that Jennie Stevens hosted and it was great. Big turnout, and lots of speakers. Jennie is very kind and easy to talk to. I love our NDP government in St. Catharines 🧡🧡🧡

I walked in and knew with two minutes I was not welcome. I went on to request help on my odsp file, I already knew my rights but did not feel I was getting the help I required through odsp. They went to say the would look into it ( I was requesting a rapid reinstatement). Odsp went on to fix the issue and gave me my rapid reinstatement. Two weeks after I received the rapid reinstatement an email from stevens is sent to me saying it is impossible to help me because of the length of time, and sent me the first three paragraphs of a fifteen paragraph read quoting these policies. Thorough job three paragraphs 2 weeks, by the way came for help and explained I have been homeless for eight weeks, and really needed there help. I do not use drugs, alcohol or even smoke cigarettes, just down on my luck. I found how tough it is to get out of this it's a broken system. Jennie Stevens, MPP you should be ashamed to hold that office. Put your office downtown, so you can see it, quit ignoring it!!!
