Jany Mark Dr

I wish I had better things to say about Dr. Jany. He seems to be suffering from compassion fatigue. We've had 2 appointments so far. The first one left a lot to be desired and frankly, we left there feeling numb at his flat and seemingly uncaring behaviour. At the 2nd one, I was hoping for a better experience for my mother who is a very sick woman. I can accept various personalities: dry, tired, maybe preoccupied, yup we all have personal lives and busy days... but Dr. Jany really seems to not care much at all for the individual in front of him. He doesn't make eye contact, and gets exasperated if you have questions or need clarification. Unfortunately last time, he got up to leave as soon as he had finished speaking. He didn't ask us if we understood his interpretation of my mom's condition, didn't explain a treatment plan, didn't give us an official diagnosis, or tell us what to expect. Luckily, I'm in health care and I stopped him from leaving the room and asked the right questions. Most people do not know what to ask or how to advocate for themselves! If we could, and if there wasn't a wait list for another respirologist, we would switch physicians in a heart beat. I'm shocked that there are a few 5 star ratings on here. Imagine having to stop someone in their tracks as they are up and leaving the room to insist you get your questions answered about your own health care!? My heart breaks for the sick people in his care, especially my mom.

I've been seeing Dr Jany for many years now and I truly believe in my heart I would be passed away if I didnt have him as a Dr. Very friendly and an excellent Dr. As for the receptionist... she is awesome!!!.

I've been to this office on 3 separate occasions with different clients. The Dr according to my clients is dismissive of their concerns. My issue is with that horrible receptionist. Brutally ignorant. She's in the wrong profession. I've worked in the medical field for over 20 years and I couldn't imagine treating patients the way she does. The first time I thought, Hmm maybe she's having a bad day. The second time I was like nope, that's her total personality. But the most recent has me wanting to file a formal complaint. Beyond disgusting. Anywhere but here.

Dr. Jany is a fantastic medical specialist in pulmonary function. I have seen him once and was treated very politely and respectfully. Dr. Jany completed an excellent examination of my presenting problem; chronic asthma. I felt that I was in incredibly capable hands. He was open to any questions that I might have, and also provided pertinent advice other than simply providing medication. In my honest opinion, Dr. Jany is no “hand patter”. I think patients will get straightforward medical consultation by a competent practitioner. As for his administrator, she was polite and friendly.

Receptionist is very rude, argumentative and aggressive when you try to relay what recommendations another physician has given. She got very confrontational and went as far as calling other physicians 'unprofessional', among other things. As i tried to explain myself, she wouldn't allow me to get a word in, so i ended up hanging up the phone. Definitely going to see if there's a different doctor in the area i can be referred to. If you hate your job and people that much, work somewhere else.
