Fabulous customer service! I called Jamie Janzen Plumbing and Heating January 30th 2026 for a furnace issue in the morning. The Goodman furnace had failed at my elderly parents home. I spoke with the friendly woman named Jennifer who answered. She took my info and advised that a tech would be responding and will contact me when enroute. The fool I am thought I had fixed it and canceled the service call. MacGyver I'm not and I'll stay in my lane next time because I in fact did not fix it. I called back to rebook the visit. She was still friendly and very likely amused at my embarrassment and mumbling admission of failure after previously proclaiming my greatness. Anyway this legend named Brett showed up and did this mystical voodoo magic stuff and fixed the furnace. My parents will not become mom and popsicles. In all seriousness, when needed the most they delivered with professionalism, great attitude and timeliness. Total class act company top to bottom. Rodney showed up on my back porch, unannounced and without an appointment. I explained it was not a good time and asked him to leave. He refused and tried to coerce me over and over to let him in my home while I kept asking him to leave the property. This went on for at least 10 minutes while he stood over me menacingly as I sat, trying to continue the work on my laptop I explained to him I needed to complete before my 4-year-old daughter came home off the bus in minutes. He still would not leave. Finally, I was able to get him to follow me to his van parked at the front of my home and I insisted again that he leave. He got quite angry and I was scared but he finally got in his van and left after making a production of slamming the van doors. I called the company and the woman who answered the phone said they had no way of knowing who it was because he had just showed up and they had no record of it. She dismissed it with an oh well that's our service tech so that's who will be sent out for the next appointment. I had to threaten to call police if he came to my home again for her to take me seriously. Better record keeping by the company and some kind of conduct training for all staff is required. Regarding workmanship, the same Tech had originally installed the furnace, with a supervisor watching, improperly, and made a gaping hole that they did not fill in in the exterior wall where mice then came in. Water leaks from the exhaust pipe they put in into my basement and creates a 3 m wide pool in the middle of my neighbouring workout room, after first passing through a closet where it has damaged belongings. They had come back twice to fix these issues and never did, nor did they even complete the installation, which has taken more than a year.

Called the office July 2024 for someone to check out the a/c unit, and spoke to office admin. She said guys are busy and someone will call back on a Wed. No one did. Called back Thursday and left message. No reply to the message. Monday called again and spoke to office admin. She said yes they have the message and someone will be by in the afternoon. No one showed up. Tuesday left a message. No response . It’s been a week since then and still have not heard or seen anyone from that company. You determine what you think of the professionalism of this company. I tried to give this a zero rating. One star was too much.

We would not recommend Jamie Janzen Plumbing & Heating. We found them to be unresponsive and not very helpful. It took us almost 2 weeks to hear from a tech on a follow up on a repair, and when we did, we found him to be somewhat condescending. At that point, we ended up going with a different company.

We have been using Jamie Janzen Plumbing & Heating for years. We once lost hot water on Boxing Day and they were able to service us quickly and cost efficiently. Service with a smile on a holiday! Can’t beat that. Their technicians are all friendly and super knowledgeable. I trust them in my home even if I can’t be there. I would never call anybody else. Thanks Jamie!
