If you want a meal that feeds your soul, go to Jal Mahal. I had an amazing experience; the food prepared by Aunty ji is phenomenal. It truly felt like a home-cooked meal from my mother’s kitchen cooked with the love and care of my own mother. The Paranthas were perfectly made, and the Lady Finger vegetable was seasoned to perfection. Don't leave without trying the tea! Five stars.

JAL MAHAL (formerly John’s Restaurant that we’ve enjoyed since 1967) on Thorold Stone Road in the Falls has an excellent traditional breakfast available all day with Service that’s truly exceptional as well..!!! The Owners Pankaj & Randeep are very welcoming and clearly put a lot of effort into keeping diners satisfied… after another fine breakfast they suggested a sweet ginger tea with cream which was a very nice change from a plain old coffee.. : ) Merry Christmas to Everyone..!!!

My wife and I went to Jal Mahal yesterday for lunch, the food was fantastic. In particular the aloo samosas and the chicken pakoras. The samosas had a bit of a kick, and were seasoned perfectly. The chicken in the pakoras was juicy, not overcooked and the batter was crispy. I was pleasantly impressed with both appetizers. I had the lamb biryani, a big portion with lots of lamb. My wife had the Murgh shahi korma. Both mains were extremely tasty. I cannot remember our server's name but she was very attentive and polite, a credit to restaurant. We normally use their sister restaurant, The Chef Of India and we will be coming back for more at Jal Mahal. A really nice experience.

Was in town for the day to visit the Falls, looking for an Indian Restaurant at the end of our visit to satisfy our hunger. We found Jal Mahal, it has plenty of free parking and about 4km from the falls a short drive. The decor is basic and clean. But should not detour you from experiencing their fine Indian cuisine, we had a butter chicken and chicken biryani with the butter garlic nam bread, as well as a mango desert which had the consistency of ice cream, all was excellent and would recommend Jal Mahal to anyone that has a taste for fine Indian food! Really enjoyed it thanks!

New Indian restaurant in Niagara Falls, Ontario. Owned by the same Chef Pankaj/team behind “Chef of India”. Limited menu options but everything tastes great. The decor is a bit weird (run down) as it appears an old motel/restaurant but the facilities are clean and the staff is courteous. There’s ample parking for guests and it is away from the hustle/bustle of downtown Niagara Falls area for a relaxing lunch/dinner. Highly recommend that you try this place once. The prices are up-to-mark for a touristy place and the taste will make up for it!
