At the beginning, Dr. Jackiewicz was very supportive. However, as my daughter’s needs became more complex, the situation changed. My daughter has Autism, ADHD, and was recently diagnosed with DMDD in 2024. I repeatedly returned to seek help because her behaviours had become extremely difficult and overwhelming for our family. We tried adjusting the same medications several times by raising and lowering the doses, and one new medication was introduced. Unfortunately, none of these changes helped. Because things were not improving—and in fact were getting worse—we were returning for follow-ups every two months, and sometimes even after only three weeks. At our appointment in June of last year, we attended a follow-up for my daughter. The next day, my other child had an appointment with Dr. Jackiewicz, so my partner explained an incident that had happened shortly after we left the office the day before. During my sons appointment, Dr. Jackiewicz told my partner with my son there regarding my daughter: “That’s it, I’m done. I can’t deal with her anymore. I never want to see her again.” My son was upset and came to tell me when he got home. After that statement, we were essentially dropped from her care. We were not given any guidance, referrals, or resources to help us find another doctor. My daughter needed a prescription refill while we searched for a new provider, but Dr. Jackiewicz refused to refill it. As I have sent a few emails and no response. Later, when my son was due for his next appointment after the October appointment, we realized that he had also been dropped as a patient. We were never given a follow-up appointment, and he was also left without medication refills. It feels as though he was dismissed because of the situation involving my daughter. This entire experience has been extremely upsetting and unprofessional. We came to Dr. Jackiewicz asking for help for a child with complex needs. Instead, we were left without support, medication continuity, or proper referrals. Additionally, Dr. Jackiewicz had previously stated that she would submit a referral for my daughter to see a psychiatrist, but that referral was never completed despite being mentioned months earlier.
View on GoogleDr. Jackiewicz has been an absolute blessing to our family. As a parent of a child with both autism and ADHD, finding a doctor who truly understands, listens, and cares makes all the difference, and she does exactly that. She is incredibly patient, kind, and compassionate. She never rushes appointments and always takes the time to really understand my child’s unique needs and challenges. Her approach is thoughtful and collaborative, and she is always doing her very best to support us and help alleviate any difficulties we face. You can genuinely feel that she cares — not just as a doctor, but as a human being. Navigating autism and ADHD can feel overwhelming at times, but having her in our corner gives us reassurance and confidence. She advocates, guides, and supports with both knowledge and heart. And I must also mention Dolores, her wonderful assistant. Dolores is warm, organized, and always welcoming. She goes above and beyond to help with scheduling, questions, and making everything run smoothly. Her kindness and professionalism never go unnoticed. We are beyond grateful to have such an incredible team caring for our child. They truly make a difference in our lives. ❤️❤️❤️ Thank you Dr. Jackiewicz for everything. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
View on GoogleI was there with my daughter. I am disappointed as she mentioned that my daughter behaved like 8 years old and all she wanted is to put her under medication. I believe if she prescribed medication to the kids the medication company give her some compensation because all she does is to force parents to accept that your child has problems. I trust that God is the perfect doctor and healer.
View on GoogleBoth of my sons are seen by Dr. Jackiewicz for the last year and a half. I love that when I enter I’m always kindly greeted. I can always get through on the phone with questions. I find that I never have to wait long for my appointment, the scheduling is maintained really well without rushing you through. The receptionist is absolutely lovely! I love the package that I had to fill out prior to my first visit. They really want to know about your child and this is what I needed for my children. Dr. Jackiewicz really gets to know your child/ children before making a formal diagnosis. I find that a formal ADHD/Autism diagnosis is definitely not rushed, because Dr. Jackiewicz is incredibly thorough and watches your child over time - which is a good thing. I have found her to be kind, caring , knowledgeable , a good listener and I trust my boys in her care.
View on GoogleI have never had such a terrible experience with a doctor until I went with my Brother to his appointment to see Dr. Jackiewicz. She was kind in the beginning, but as soon as I questioned the avenue of treatment she was taking, she became extremely disrespectful and defensive. She invalidated my brother’s experience with a medication she prescribed, and flat out refused to explore any other treatment options after the first one did not work for him. She did not listen to him as a patient, and I feel as though if I were not there he would have received inadequate care. She is very close minded. For a doctor who works with patients who have a diagnosis of Autism and ADHD I expected more. I would rate her with 0 stars if there were an option, she should not be working with such a vulnerable population.
