This barn is a Welland treasure. Proper old-school vibe that hits you the second you walk in. The ice is the real deal—hard, fast, and stays crisp even after a heavy Junior B tilt. It’s a rink rat’s dream for finding edges and letting the clappers fly. Rooms are definitely tight for the big boys and the air is "freezing" cold, but that’s how a real hockey shrine should be. If you want a gritty, authentic spot to lace 'em up or catch a battle, this is a beauty. No-frills, just hockey.
View on GoogleSmall drink. Youth Arena. Good ice surface pretty good lighting. Smaller rooms. Good first experience
View on GoogleFree skating for March break. It was great, it's all sectioned off young kids, ringette, and free skating plus free food for the little ones. Had a wonderful day with my son!
View on GooglePlayed at it for years dressing rooms are decently sized. They redid the ones in the small rink so they are great and the ones in the main rink are a little smaller and a lot older at least the visitor rooms. Lots of seating in big rink and not great seating in small rink. Haven't eaten there. Overall ok
View on GoogleAn older rink but facilities are clean good fries and dogs at the snack bar. Been a part of Welland community for a long time. Admittedly we could use a new one but there's something about these old barns that have some hockey charm. I coached both my boys and lots of kids in the city in these arenas and watched them grow up into young men and women.
