It's A Guy Thing

Went there for a haircut today and will never be going again. The lady there cut my hair to shortl, and with absolutely zero warning, ran her trimmers across my eyebrows and it looks AWFUL. I have no idea why on gods green earth anyone would do that especially without asking as I usually go to a nicer place in st.catherines who I trust more and they have never done that. On top of that I do not have bushy eyebrows at all so there was no reason for that at whatsoever. She is also rather inconsistent. She sometimes uses a razor with a comb to cut the top of my head which is also something I've never seen before and due to her dull razor, it hurts like hell. Her space is also pretty unsanitary as there is other people hair all over the tools she is using to cut mine which I'm not a fan of at all. And all of that for 30 bucks! I feel like I've been robed. 100% do NOT recommend.

Went there today with my boyfriend and she did not listen to one word he said. She proceeded to cut the top of his hair after being told to not touch it and just cut the sides. He asked for her to clean his beard up a little and she proceeded to cut it all off as well as shaving his eyebrows down to almost nothing. Would not recommend her to anyone. Personal opinion First choice hair cutters could do a 10x better job!! for the same price if not less

My husband HAD a beautiful, curled, handlebar moustache. During the 5 minutes he was inside the shop to get it cleaned up for a wedding in 2 days, she managed to to cut off the entire 2 years of growth and styling he has put into his unique look. She was so fast he didn't have time to stop her. He will never go back and we will never recommend this shop. Previous poster is right: it's a butcher shop not a barber shop.

The pricing is incredibly reasonable for requesting a fade and a line. She's impressively fast. From what I can tell, she doesn't ask many questions about how you prefer the more intricate details of your cut, relying moreso on her experience and particular style (which looks good so if you're ok with it then it's great). If you prefer a more drastic fade where the tops of the sides are, say, finger length and the bottom of the sides are 000 or shorter, you may have to provide more detail when explaining how you like your cut.

Always enjoyed going here until a recent experience, 16 $ was reasonable. For a haircut now its 22$ and the past few times the quality has been declining. I have asked them to cut my hair a certain way and they cut all of my hair without even going near what I want. but the last time I went here a new lady was in. (cant remember her name) I told her how to do my hair and she messed that up and cut my hair and beard lopsided I had to fix it all myself when I got home. the worst part was during the neck shave with the straight edge razor she was pressing the razor into my neck so hard she gave me the worst razor burn, also she shaved off a small mole I had. and all she had to say was opps I nicked you a little. when I got home my wife had noticed my mole was completely gone. a week after this I got the worst rash down my neck and back. had it checked and it was caused by an unsanitary razor. also known as barbers itch, will not be returning. the owner is a nice lady who is having her name dragged through the mud by her uncaring employees
