By far the BEST VEAL EVER!!!!!! My husband and I have had veals everywhere SAN Francesco foods California sandwiches and these place do NOT compare!!! You won’t be disappointed.

Id give a million stars if i could. This place is the best! Never a disappointment regardless of what you eat. People say the hot sandwiches are messy, and their right. If you dont like a messy Italian sandwich try your sandwich with the panuozzo (probably spelt wrong) bread, it elevates the sandwich. Go back and try it that way, you will not be disappointed. Also, the kind lady that is always cashing out customers is the sweetest soul!!!! This Italian market is an absolute Gem. They should win awards for everything they made.

Stopped in to try the veal sandwiches. They were delicious and also didn’t realize the sandwiches were so large! Also had a canoli. Everything tasted great! Friendly customer service too!

I was looking for somewhere close to my friends and she suggested The Italian Peasant not even having tried it herself yet. I went in and ordered a single chicken parm, 3 meatballs and I asked for a sandwich recommendation that would last the night for lunch the next day and suggest the mortadella. All of the portions were massive and easily shareable amongst 2-4 people for $45! All fresh and homemade. So so good! Highly recommend checking them out, I've heard the pizza is fantastic. I also picked up a homemade zepoli with ricotta, which again was fantastic. The only thing is I probably would have grabbed some more to go meals if the fridge was full. She did say they would make them fresh, im just more inclined to get it if it's easy to grab myself and I can see what it looks like before ordering. Literally the only suggestion.

A post on Facebook inspired us to stop in. Everything was fantastic! We tried the 12" cup and char, assorted deli sandwich and meatball sandwich. Everything was fresh and delicious! They had a small selection of ready to heat meals that we can't wait to try.
