*Wedding Review* - We celebrated our wedding ceremony and reception at Ironwood Cider House in September 2025, and from the moment we walked through the doors, we knew it was the perfect venue for us. Shannon, Roxanne, and the entire Ironwood team made both the planning process and the day itself effortless. They were incredibly organized, responsive, and patient with our many questions and special requests. We truly felt we received exceptional value for the experience. Even months later, our guests continue to rave about the food, the atmosphere, and the overall vibe of the venue - especially the cider. We couldn’t recommend Ironwood Cider House more highly!

*Wedding Review* We had an incredible experience with Ironwood as our venue and can’t recommend it highly enough! The venue itself is gorgeous. It's the perfect mix of indoor/outdoor. It gives you a winery feel, but isn't too pretentious. We didn't feel like just a number, but rather valued guests. The building is gorgeous and the peach orchard is the perfect ceremony spot. Everything looked amazing in photos. From the beginning, the staff went above and beyond to make everything smooth and stress-free. They were consistently responsive, flexible, and genuinely helpful, which made the planning process so much easier. We really appreciated them giving us flexibility with drink packages, drop off and pick up of items, etc. A special shoutout to Shannon, the event coordinator, who was absolutely amazing!!! She was organized, calm, and on top of every detail! It truly felt like she cared about making our day perfect. She really brought our vision to life. On the night of the wedding, the service was outstanding. The team was attentive and professional, and everything ran beautifully. And of course, the ciders are delicious! People loved them! We chose Treadwell for our food, which worked seamlessly and was a huge hit. If you’re looking for a beautiful space with a team that genuinely delivers, this is the place. We’re so grateful we chose it. -Emily & Owen

We are absolutely in love with our wedding venue. The modern, stylish look of the cider house brought such a fresh and unique feel to a traditionally feminine event, it was exactly what we wanted. And of course, we’re big fans of their cider, which made it even better! Having both our ceremony and reception on the same property was incredibly convenient, and we appreciated how smoothly they collaborate with Feastivities for catering and Cathy Davis & Company for officiant services. Communication with Devon and Shannon was excellent from start to finish. Shannon coordinated the day flawlessly, everything was set up perfectly, and the whole team was wonderful to work with. I truly cannot thank Shannon and the entire team enough for making our day so seamless and special. Highly recommend!

For those who enjoy a good cider and pleasant spaces to visit, you can and should include a visit to Ironwood. Ironwood is located in the Niagra-on-the-Lake region, making it convenient to several tourist attractions, as well as the route to Niagra Falls. The space is beautiful, the production area is huge and meticulously maintained, and every corner you look at shows the cart and dedication of the entire team. Upon arrival, you enter the store and the bar with a great variety of cider taps. Their service is impeccable, with a lot of dedication and care. For those arriving by car, the location has free parking with plenty of space. For customers with disabilities, Ironwood has automatic doors that open and close, a smooth, step-free entrance, and accessible restrooms. It's definitely worth a visit.

I was hesitant to write this review, but I think it’s important to separate Ironwood Cider House itself from its external vendors. We had our wedding here, and the staff — especially Roxanne and later Shannon — were absolutely wonderful to work with. They were kind, accommodating, timely, and respectful, and I truly appreciated their professionalism. That said, I’m not sure our day would have gone as smoothly without our own wedding coordinator. The main reason for my less-than-perfect rating is the lack of shade solutions, which was a major factor in why we chose the venue. Up until our wedding day, it had rained for weeks, and the promised tent structure was not completed on time. No one informed us — I only discovered this during our rehearsal the day before. Additionally, the venue’s signature geometric patio sails, which were a big part of our vision, were also missing. Again, there was no proactive communication, and we had to problem-solve last-minute. While neutral umbrellas were offered (and appreciated), this wasn’t the look or plan we had booked for, and had we known earlier, we might have chosen a different venue. Another consideration is their chosen catering partner, Festivities. Unfortunately, they didn’t meet our expectations — though Ironwood graciously allowed us to bring in an external caterer, which we had to pay an external fee of $15 per guest, so ($15x90 = $1,350) ontop of the catering fee, just to swap from grey mush-terrible catering food offered by Festivities. Overall, Ironwood is a beautiful space with a stellar in-house team, but if you choose this venue, you need to hire an external professional wedding planner and/or external coordinator. A venue coordinator is not the same. I can’t imagine finding out on our wedding day that there was no shade in place — or worse, no rain solution — for our 90-person celebration, and this was not resolved before we, the couple, came to visit the night before.
