IRIS Optometrists and Opticians - Welland

I have positive and constructive feedback. Firstly, I am a medical professional and worked in different facilities including hospitals and outpatient across Ontario, BC, US and overseas. In terms of good feedback, Dr. Roth took me in immediately when I walked in due to my eye issue and he was already booked so for that I am extremely grateful hence the 2 stars, otherwise, I give no star! Now as with the constructive part: 1) expensive more than other places, cost close to 200 dollars 2) they tried hard to sell me a few things, felt too much commercialized 3) the follow- up shortly after [which they set up themselves] should be complementary, as it is at most other places, and they did not tell me there was charge and when I called to ask they gave me a range of $40-80 which really does not make sense 4) when I inquired why there is a large gap for follow- up cost and why they did not update in advance that there was a cost, the person I was talking to was a male, which I think his name was Matthew. He was rude and also yelled. Very unprofessional. Quite disappointed. Told my husband to cancel his booking too and also will not be a returning patient. I also would like to have my report send to another optometrist. So if there is someone I could contact aside from front desk so I could obtain my details would be great. Thanks.

People are always very friendly, very welcoming and ready to help you. I have never had a bad issue with Vision Clinic. Keep up the great work, attitude and atmosphere.

We had an excellent experience with Dr. Pelletier today. She is extremely kind, knowledgeable, and thorough. She took the time to explain everything clearly, which made the whole process easy and comfortable for our entire family. My wife, our two kids, and I all went in together, and we were welcomed so warmly from the moment we arrived. The staff was professional, attentive, and very friendly. The office is well-equipped with modern technology, which gave us confidence that we were receiving the best care possible. It’s not easy to find a doctor who is both highly skilled and genuinely caring (once again; genuinely caring), but Dr. Pelletier is exactly that. We left feeling very well taken care of and will absolutely be returning. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for outstanding eye care for themselves or their family!

Dr. Nanini has an outgoing personality and made me feel so relaxed while conducting my eye test. He explained every step of the process plus he took the time to answer my questions. Tanya was also very patient in explaining the pre tests she gave me before I saw Dr. Nanini. She relates well to seniors and assisted me in choosing eye frames for my new lens without making me feel rushed or pressured. Tanya is an asset to this business with her knowledge of the products and what will look good on the clients. I highly recommend Iris if you are looking for professional, helpful staff, quality products and a friendly environment.

Flawless experience, Dr Pelltier fit me in even with her busy schedule to remove a metal sliver from my eye. She was polite, professional and welcoming as were all the staff. Definitely recommend IRIS.
