Integrated Functional Medicine

I’ve been seeing Kristina for over 6 years now. She has been the ONLY person in any medical field that listened to me and took my concerns seriously and I seen many different types of doctors. I was in total distress gained 130lbs my skin and insides were on fire all the time constant hives and itching and so much more. I could write for days on what went on. For years I told drs my ears felt dry raw and extremely itchy and there was constant fluid issues inside my ears and was just given antibiotics for ear infections. I told drs certain foods made me feel specific ways but according to them I had no food issues. Was told I was allergic to my sweat and to wear loose fitting clothes. The list truly goes on. The first thing she seen was my ears and the mess they were in turns out it was eczema luckily I took those 10 rounds of antibiotics from drs. She sent me for food intolerance testing turns out I have 33 food intolerances quite a few are very severe ones and 2 of them make me hot itchy break out in hives cause heart burn and get rashes when I shower oh and causes eczema inside my ears. I had so many issues hormone related also. I continue to see Kristina as my main practitioner because she listens to my concerns and focuses on functional healing. I am in the best health of my life only because she listens and I make every effort to follow her directives and make the changes my body needs.

Booked my appointment online and first availability was 6 weeks away. Had to put my credit card information (thinking it's just to hold my spot) but realised the next day, that they had actually charged my credit card for my appointment, which is unacceptable. I'm ok for them to charge my credit card if I don't cancel on time, but not ok to charge my credit card for an appointment that is 6 weeks away. I called and they did reverse the charges, however, will not be going back as their policy makes you book online (which means your credit is being charged right away) This could be written in the fine print..... but who reads all the fine prints! Just wanted to let future customers know and bring awareness.

My wife has come here twice to receive help for her hormonal imbalance. There seems to be no genuine care to help her. Just some diagnoses and sent home with some meds. Each time it takes many days to get a reply by email.

Very disappointed. Referred a friend even though i had my own reservations about doing so. He had his initial appointment and then a phone follow up at 3pm. He waited til 3:20 and called her office to see what was happening. At that same time she was calling him and he missed the call. He left an immediate message with reception to tell her to call back and reception told him they had to rebook the call for Dec. 30th for ...he waited 2 weeks for the results and follow up. Her office should have called to say she was running behind instead of him thinking she forgot. Hes a new patient. And to not call him back, and give him results and tell him he now has to wait til Dec. 30th is very unprofessional. Other people time matters just as much as yours. Totally disappointed in how he was treated.

Kristina Janicas at Integrated Functional Medicine is extremely helpful. Right from the appointment to the billing, everything went very smoothly.
