In the Village

In The Village is well worth a trip to the little hamlet of Ridgeville, Ontario. The owner and assistants are friendly and welcoming. The vibe in the store is amazing, and it's fun to browse the beautiful selection of women's clothing/accessories and home decor items. I fell in love with a painting by Lise the owner. We discussed some possible changes and she spent time understanding my colours, etc. but I decided the picture was perfect as it was!

Lise is a very talented artist, successfully combining abstract with realism. We were inspired by a painting in her gallery, and she was able to personalize a piece that suited our newly decorated family room. We were thoroughly pleased with her finished artwork, and the sturdy framing!

Lise, the owner, is a very talented artist - all of her custom paintings are beautiful. Commissions are appreciated, to allow Lise to truly capture your dream artwork. Her entrepreneurial expertise is second to none ! All of the shop accessories , decorations, gift ware, and the clothing line selections are as unique, selective and beautiful as you can find 😀 Her special shop In The Village is truly a reflection of her talents, with care and attention shared with everyone visiting her shop. It is definitely a destination , combined with the other unique shops along this lovely corner of Ridgeville. Do treat yourself and bring your friends and family to the friendly Shoppes of Ridgeville. You won't be disappointed.

What a beautiful store with so many items for the perfect gift. Lise and her team are so personable and friendly and so willing to help. Lise is one of the most talented people I know. She can make a custom one of a kind painting perfect for every room. I would definitely recommend a visit to In the Village if you're in the Niagara region.

Amazing little store. Purchased two pieces of art work that I love. Lise was very friendly, and so helpful and understanding exactly what I wanted and the colour choices I was looking for.
