We visited it on Christmas Eve. It's a very cozy place and they have multiple gelato flavour. Overall, a good experience.

I had such a lovely experience at Il Gelato di Carlotta, and a huge part of that was thanks to Hiromy. From the moment I walked in, she created such a warm and welcoming atmosphere that immediately made the place feel special. The gelato was amazing, but what really stood out to me was Hiromy’s kindness and genuine care for people. While I was sitting down enjoying my gelato, I noticed a young child nearby who had tripped and started crying. Without hesitation, Hiromy gently went over, knelt down beside her, and spoke to her with the sweetest, most reassuring smile. You could see how patient and kind she was, helping the child feel safe and comforted until she calmed down and waited with her for her mom to come back from the washroom. It was such a genuine moment that showed how naturally caring she is, not because she had to, but because that’s clearly who she is. Throughout my visit, Hiromy was attentive, friendly, and truly went above and beyond to make everyone feel welcome. She has such a warm presence that turns a simple gelato trip into something memorable and wholesome. Il Gelato di Carlotta is already a wonderful place, but employees like Hiromy make it unforgettable. Highly recommend stopping by. and if Hiromy is there, you’re guaranteed a kind smile and a beautiful experience.

We stopped by in September. It’s a cool-looking spot with tables outside on the street. We ordered coffee, cookies, and affogato (vanilla ice cream and a shot of espresso) Honestly, the quality didn’t quite match the atmosphere. The ice cream wasn’t that great and the cookie was a bit stale, and coffee was meh which was disappointing. That said, we liked people watching and the spot is cool. I’d come back and give it another try

This place has really added so much extra goodness to Port Dalhousie, and I already love PD. The people running it are genuine and care about your experience with them. It almost feels like I imagine what it might be like to go to a cafe in Italy (though I haven't been) because they are so professional in their approach--serious about their craft. My parents love the gelato, where I'm more into the croissants, which are great. It's a fun outing for them when I bring them there, and they can sit inside (since they have a few tables). The coffee (I order lattes) is okay. Sometimes it's great, sometimes it's not. But it's very affordable compared to most places, so I'm not too bothered. The overall experience is wonderful. I'm so glad they chose to open shop in Port Dalhousie. When the weather is nice, I ride my bike there.

We stopped in Sunday for ice cream and I got an ice coffee. The staff were friendly and it is a near place. I ordered a an ice cream sandwich a small cup off Chocolate ice cream and an ice coffee. All this cost me 20.00. It was a nice experience and they have some tables out front to sit and enjoy.
