We visited IHOP after nearly four years because we had such a positive experience during our last visit, with great food and excellent service. Unfortunately, this time was very disappointing. Our server seemed visibly unhappy when we chose to order only food and no beverages. He repeatedly asked, “Are you sure you don’t want any drinks? I don’t like to see an empty table,” which made us feel uncomfortable. When we asked for water, he responded, “Yeah, I could get you water, definitely water,” in a tone and with expressions that made us feel unwelcome. Throughout the meal, he did not return to check on our table. Some of us needed condiments like ketchup, but we were only able to get them after we had already finished eating. During payment, he continuously stared at the machine while we were processing it, which made the situation feel awkward. Overall, the service did not meet expectations, especially for a table of eight guests. We were hoping for a much better experience given the pricing & how much we enjoyed our previous visit. Also, the cheesecake pan cake didn’t turn out as they display on every table for upsell
View on GoogleThe service was wonderful, the food was great, but I’m deducting a point because their pricing was almost double compared to neighboring restaurants. Breakfast for two was almost $80 American. Our server was very personable and helpful, our meals were very good (I got double chocolate pancakes with a platter and my son got double chocolate pancakes), but it was a bit pricey if you’re on a budget. Aside from that, a very nice experience.
View on GoogleWorst experience ever! Party of 9, and everyone had complained about the meals and coffee. Coffee you couldn’t even take more even a sip, parents were able to eat their $30 per plate cold meals, the worst to complain were the banana Nutella crepes, two children ordered this meal and we’re crying to eat it, they ate one crepe each got back to hotel was started vomiting with stomach pain. When we mentioned it to the sever when she finally came back to the table we were ready for the bills, so I mentioned I’m not one to complain as we’re in the hospitality with family but I had to say something because two kids complained about the same meal. She said she couldn’t do anything now that the bills were prepared we needed to mention it when she asked how the meals were…. She didn’t ask our table at all about the meals, just asked if we needed anything else like ketchup or hot sauce. Not once did she ask if there was a problem with 3 full cups of untouched coffee or full meals sitting infront of us. I’ve emailed them and will see if they are willing to rectify this complaint.
View on GoogleIHOP is always a must on my list when we first arrived at the falls we went to the one at the Ramada and had the worst experience I’ve ever had. We decided to try this one and who the best decision we made! Our server I believe his name was David can’t entirely remember but he was amazing! Super friendly always asked if we need anything! The food was so good and I’m seeing a lot of reviews talking about the price. Who cares good luck finding breakfast for cheap now a days and it’s a tourism place so everything in the falls is expensive thanks so much David! Ps. I hope your name was David if not we later saw you at ruby tuesdays and just wanted to let you know you were amazing!!
View on GoogleVery bad experience. Went with a group of 7 and none of us were happy with either food or the service. Ordered a bunch of breakfast items but none of them were good. The meat was dry, the eggs were okay, The Hollandaise was straight from a dollar store, The avocado toast looked like it was made by a 5 year old. The worst were the pancakes, strawberry cheesecake pancakes were not at all as advertised. They are supposed to have cheesecake bites in the pancakes but all we got was plain pancakes with a few strawberries and cream on top. (See the picture of advertisement and the real thing in photos.) One of the friends paid around 28$ just for the avocado toast and he was depressed the whole day from it. Had to get him some ice cream to make him feel better. Poor guy was completely ripped off!!! Would not recommend at all. Go to Stacked instead and save yourself a whole lot of disappointment.
