We moved from Toronto to NOTL last year. Found it really difficult to locate authentic bagels in the area. When I found this place, I was excited to try. The bagels are pretty good given the limited options around here. I do have a couple of issues though. Firstly, the bagels are not often fresh - although mostly we toast them. Secondly, their impromptu closures of the store are extremely aggravating. We went to the store today to find them closed despite their posted hours on the door and on Google here. This is about the third time this has happened. Their voice message is not updated (message to say they were closed in January because of the snow storm) and no one ever answers the phone. Not sure how they can run a business this way. Because of this, not sure I will be returning.
View on GoogleHonestly by far the best bagel sandwich I've had in my life! This little shop pumps out life changing bagel sandwiches I've been 2 weeks in a row I'm addicted! And the staff is friendly service is top notch! Is better to call in if you can before you get there so you won't have to wait. I had the turkey buffalo melt. Its so amazing! The price is more than reasonable!
View on GoogleThis is one of my new favourite spots. The bagels are so good! They offer such a variety of flavours and options. Prices are pretty good, especially considering everything is made fresh in house. The real winner here is the cream cheese. I typically really don't like cream cheese, but the creme cheese they make in house here, I just can't put enough on the bagel! Plain, strawberry, and jalapeño are my GO TO flavours. I wish they were a little closer to town but they're worth the short drive out to get some food.
View on GoogleDate of visit Friday May 2nd A friend posted some photos on Instagram of this place, and the sandwiches looked amazing, I knew I had to try them one day. During our visit to Welland Canal, we decided to check it out. We went there for breakfast sandwiches and they were amazing. They offer so many sandwich combos. You can get your sandwich made on any of their gourmet bagel flavours to help enhance your dining experience. We enjoyed our bagel breakfast sandwiches along the beauty of the canal and it wwas so good – we wwent back for a lunch bagel the next day. This place is hidden in the back of a strip plaza behind an Avondale convenience store. May be hard to find – but it is worth it.
View on GoogleWe tried out The Bagel Oven this week for a quick lunch. The service was great, helpful and friendly, also was very quick with our order. I tried the hot turkey buffalo melt bagel sandwich. Very tasty, the bagel was very fresh and a very good combination of toppings. The prices seemed reasonable as the sandwiches were rather large and hearty. Definitely worth checking out if you are in the area.
