Hipwell's Motel

Very nice staff very clean room for a motel this place is excellent... Warm rooms kitchen decent stove mini bar fridge... Can't complain at all I'll definitely come back here with no hesitation.... Thanks Hipwells you made our stay very enjoyable.

Thought I had reviewed this motel when I stayed here in July of 2024. Modest motel but clean and price is definitely affordable. Close proximity to restaurants and tourist sites but still in country setting, not city. I was on a 2 month motorcycle trip seeing things in the US/Canada and was able to do a Niagara Falls boat ride plus visit 2 movie locations from the Stephen King movie "The Dead Zone." People in Canada are very friendly & welcoming...remind me of Maui where I'm from. Staff at Hipwell's were gracious & helpful.

Hipwell's is a modest hotel, but with very friendly service, very affordable prices, and a comfortable bed that provided a good night's sleep, I would recommend if you need a place to stay for a night or two.if you are visiting near Niagara.

This place is a garbage bin. All of the rooms are dirty and stinky and smelly and the mattresses have bedbugs. The owners do not care about their property. They just care about somebody giving them a dollar for their room because they’re disgusting. I will be calling the region to make surethat they get inspected. This place is a joke.

My boyfriend and I stayed here Saturday night after attending the Jesus festival. Praise the Lord and all of His glory. The service was pleasant. The wife was the one that we were communicating with, and she gave us a very friendly and helpful service. She welcomed us with a warmed smile which was very pleasant and welcoming, The rooms could use a bit more work.. When we first walked in, it had a raunchy smell to it. It smelt musty and moldy. Upon arrival, the windows were opened and we think it’s because of the smell, which the windows didn’t help. The room overall could’ve used a lot more work to it; the mirror that was hung on the wall looked like it it was hanging off of a thread, and the bathroom didn’t look clean at all. I had to shower with my socks on for the sake of my feet. In the middle of the night, I woke up from an intense itch. Later on the day, my boyfriend and I found bed bug bites all over his body (some on mine but his was more severe). I recommend the hotel to do a shut down and clean the whole place.. We realized too late as we live 3.5 hours from here, but we won’t be staying here again until this issue is resolved.
