Hillcrest Psychology and Dr. Jean Dennis offer excellent assessment and treatment services. Dr. Dennis is knowledgeable, very experienced, and highly ethical. I highly recommend her services.

We had a great experience with Dr. Dennis's office during a psych-ed assessment for my 8-year-old son. Everyone was friendly and professional, and my son even found the testing with Taylor pretty fun. Dr. Dennis took the time to listen to us and provided a detailed and helpful final report. The negative reviews of this practice are not true reflections of the work, but instead are the limitations of all regulated professionals with an ethical practice.

Our son felt very comfortable with Dr. Dennis at the beginning of his journey. Over time she continued offering great guidance but as a parent I noticed the gradual increase in fees. Fast forward a few years where our son is in a much better mental state. He now needs her help filling out a mental disability form for his first year at university and she refuses to do it saying that she hasn’t interacted with him in a while. This is very disappointing for my son and as a parent it’s also very disappointing as I see this as a cash grab. We as a family enjoyed our interactions with Dr. Dennis but this response to our son’s request have made us bitter about her services.

If you have legal obligations They will not give you services as they do not want to feel legally obligated, so they will discriminate against you and refuse those services.

The assessment process was easy and there was someone available to answer the phone and answer my questions and the Saturday appointments were very convenient. Friendly staff!
