Hewad Kabob

We’ve ordered from here before, but dining in is a completely different experience! To have everything come fresh off the grill makes all the difference. The chapli kebabs were perfectly juicy, the lamb chops were tender and flavourful, and the Afghani naan was still warm and fluffy. The highlight though? The Mantu -traditional Afghani dumplings with rich, authentic flavors. Everything was high quality and delicious. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in downtown St. Catharines! I recommended dine-in!

Tried this spot out today after getting a recommendation from a friend. Tried the half chicken dinner tonight. I had take out and had to make a few stops before getting back home. Food was still very flavorful. I enjoyed my meal. Definitely was very filling. Sauces that came with it also added a punch of flavour. I would suggest trying them out for some delicious Afghan food. Note: chicken wasnt spicy

We stumbled upon this restaurant today and decided to give it a try. The place has a great atmosphere, the staff is very friendly, and the food is absolutely delicious.

Wow we were blown away! We visited Hewad Kabob with 6 adults and 2 kids, and the experience was outstanding from start to finish. The staff was extremely courteous, welcoming, and attentive. Our food came out super quick, which was perfect as we were very hungry! The quality of the food was beyond our expectations everything was flavorful, fresh, and perfectly cooked. Even the red sauce was incredibly delicious! We were all genuinely impressed. We re ordered some the chops and kabob extra. Looking forward to coming back again soon. Highly recommended!
