Heatherington & Deans delivered an exceptional experience at a time when we really needs it. Mandie was able to anticipate all of our needs and provided an atmosphere of love and celebration in just 3 days. Thankyou Mandie so much.

We were extremely happy and satisfied with the work everyone did for us. Making us comfortable and going above and beyond with how they set up the visitation room for family and friends to be together and view and remember their loved one. I highly recommend using this funeral home. This was my 2nd unfortunately using their service. Extremely caring and helpful, definitely went above and beyond this time for me, was saying goodbye to my mother. They made me feel, like she was super important to them and also made the process easy, considering I did it alone. Jennifer in reception remembered me everytime I called and who, I was dealing with. Mandie was extraordinary, I use humour to deal with difficult situations and she appropriately laughed but also made sure everything was handled with care. She helped me so much. Also I could tell that her sincerity for my loss was genuine. She gave my son a adorable stuffed animal which, I absolutely love. 1st using the service was also top notch, I remember the funeral home, accommodating all of my requests, which were unique to the situation. Highly recommended.

Words like professional, compassionate, empathetic, understanding and accommodating come to mind. First class service in all areas especially for the little things that are often forgotten when trying to deal with the loss of a loved one. A very special thank you to Holly who was a tremendous help. Holly made the entire process so much easier to deal with. She has a heart of gold, a very engaging personality, felt like she was part of the family, especially with the recent passing of my dad. Recently, my Aunt passed away. She had prearranged funeral plans with Hetherington & Deans Funeral Chapel. Holly looked after us every step of they way, adjusting to changes from the original plan and connecting me with the perfect Minister after listening to my Aunt's story and my own wishes. Holly even wore pink for the service, something I'd asked attendees to do to honour my Aunt's love of all things pink. I was treated with kindness, compassion, and care throughout the whole process. The funeral was everything I'd hoped it would be for my Aunt, a true celebration of her life. In the days following the funeral, Kelly looked after all the government paperwork, cancelling things like her passport, healthcard etc. It took all the work and stress involved away from me. I highly recommend Hetherington & Deans for all your funeral needs.
