Halibut House Fish and Chips Welland

the food is good. the staff are amazing and give incredible service. on top of that the facility is spotless THE cleanest bathrooms I've seen anywhere.

Thoroughly enjoyed my fish and chips and soup! Very tasty and fresh! Very clean restaurant and takeout counter! Very pleasant reception! I’ll return for sure. Highly recommended!

fish really good perfect batter ratio chips lacking and i was really excited about the coleslaw till i saw it and tasted it was very dry no wetness at all had to add my own ingridients after i did tasted great

Is this a joke? Paid $25 for this plus a small container of coleslaw. This is not even one piece of fish! The fries was nice but the fish was rubbery. There was barely any batter. It tasted like the fish had been frozen for way too long. The audacity to charge the amount of money for this is insane. I get it you are franchise and you need to charge what you need to charge but I doubt I will come back. There are good fish and chips with better prices in Welland.

10/10 - absolutely nothing to complain about! My wife and I went for dinner tonight and it was a great experience. We were greeted at the doors as soon as we walked in, sat down to a booth as requested within seconds, had a drink on the table immediately and our order was taken within 3 minutes! Krystal was our main server but Tia helped out and both were extremely sweet and attentive. We were checked on every few minutes by 4 staff to ensure we were satisfied. So in terms of their service it was phenomenal! On to the food! We ordered a Greek salad, calamari, fish sandwich with fries and the Wednesday Haddock Special. Fresh, delicious and not overly battered. Highly recommend! We also took the white chocolate cheesecake to go and chefs kiss all around. Would definitely go back again. A great addition to Welland restaurants!
