Haldimand War Memorial Hospital

My wife was brought in here recently by ambulance and while the experience was unfortunate, the staff was exceptional. Everyone from the doctor, nurses and volunteers went above and beyond. I was with my wife for quite a while and a nurse offered me a water and sandwich, which was greatly appreciated. Thank you very much.

The Emergency room used to be top notch. The old part of the E.R but since they builder the new part with Triage rooms and so on it takes hours and hours just to be taking into triage then before you get called into a room. The old way they would say how sorry they were if you waited more then a hour wait to see the doctor. Most of the time now you see staff walking around or sitting at the counter/nurses desk well your sitting waiting in the waiting room or in the room they place you in. I'd give anything to go back to the way it used to be.

Dr Ray is awesome. Good practitioner good bedside manner. A good sense of humor And super efficient and direct with accurate pain assessment and precision with a needle His epidural injections are very thorough and I leave from a 8-9 pain to a 2 in minutes Very good doctor. Very highly recommend

We went here today (Oct.5/25) around 3:00pm. It was my first time going here as I always go to St. Catharines. We did start off in St. Catharines but there wait times were not what they showed on line. My husband looked up this hospital and I am glad he did. I have a broken toe but what an experience from start to finish. Everyone was smiling, sensitive, and so very helpful. I would like to thank you all for such wonderful care today. From triage, registering, x-ray tech, nurse, and doctor. You were all so wonderful! Thank you!
