Not sure if it was the owner I spoke with, but I found the man to be rude and unhelpful in providing commonly asked for documentation. They also tried to get my mother to scam more money from the region for a funeral that wont happen considering we are in the middle of a pandemic. For a business that claims to care for the emotional and psychological wellness of those who have lost their loved ones, you've been unsuccessful in proving so.

When making arrangements for a loved one's celebration of life, the last thing you want is to be treated with hostility when you come for the interment of ashes. Or to be confronted angrily when the funeral home director misplaces your obituary, which you sent him on time, only for him to say "well I didn't check the fax machine." Or to have the funeral home director decide of his own volition, unbeknownst to you, that you will only need enought catering for 75 people even though you ordered for 200, and then to have the church ladies have to run out to Subway to pick up enough to feed your lunch guests after a pre-lunch ceremony with standing room only. But these things are what you get when you plan a funeral with Haine.

My family was very well looked after by the staff at Haine. They where very patient, flexible, kind and helpful at such a sad time for us. They took care of my family needs. I highly recommend Haine.

This place is a good choice for a family owned funeral home that will allow you to customize your plan (e.g. use one's own stationery). However, in our last experience, they did not discuss all the options. We would have preferred that the casket have been lowered at the cemetery, that the pallbearers be gathered together, that someone at the cemetery invite guests to throw some sand on the casket, that the deceased's Church be contacted for a Minister instead of what was more convenient, that coffee and cookies be offered at the visitation, that people be asked if someone wanted to give a eulogy and that materials provided for display of photos during visitation be described during the first meeting.
