THERAPIST DID NOT SHOW! BUYER BEWARE Be warned that your therapist can decide not to show up. First I was told that they were running behind (not true), then five minutes past my appointment time, was told the therapist was not showing up. And I took time off work.... Will not return, ever.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS. I went for a massage here with Cylvie, and when I attempted to put it through insurance I was advised by Sunlife that they no longer accept claims with this provider (Cylvie) due to some sort of malpractice. Infuriated, I contacted the clinic, and was beyond gaslighted by the “manager” Alana. She went around in circles for half an hour about how “Cylvie is such a nice person” and tried to tell me I accepted a disclaimer when booking the appointment that Cylvie does not work with Sunlife (not true, screenshots to prove that NO WHERE does it say this when booking with Cylvie). ONLY AFTER ASKING for it, was promised a refund via etransfer..this was now weeks ago, and still have not received my refund or heard from anyone. Disgusting.

Just got home from an hour with Farzin. I’ve been getting Deep tissue massages for many years now. We moved to Grimsby a short while ago and chose Grimsby massage because of the bright yellow building. It’s small and quaint and relaxing inside I took a chance on Farzin and he is wonderful. The best massage I’ve ever had. Thank you Farzin.

I have always had such positive experiences here, across many visits and several RMT's. The place is clean, organized, and welcoming. I'm sure that the team is talented across the board but I would highly recommend Elya who is both a lovely person and a very skilled massage therapist! Always happy to come back here.

I called Friday to book an appointment for my partner. They informed me that they had a 2:30pm appointment available for Sunday, March 9th. I happily booked him in as I was glad there was any availability on short notice. The day of, he was called and asked to come in 10 minutes later as the client prior had ran late for their appointment. This should not be his problem or affect his appointment but sure, no problem. He still arrived early and waited patiently in his car (they told him he couldn't wait inside). As he waited, he received a call from the RMT stating that his appointment was at 2:30. He explained that someone called asking him to come for 2:40. Unaware she said "oh, ok". At 2:40 he was brought in. He first had to fill out paper work as they would not allow him to come in early to fill it out. They finished the massage at 3:30. Let me be clear that this was a confirmed 1hr massage that I booked for him. So even if they started at 2:40 (which they didn't), he should not be home before 3:40 (which he was). I asked him how it was, hoping it was at least worth it. He said it was relaxing but she did not focus on any of the problem areas that he communicated to her, which was the whole reason as to why I booked this appointment for him. I am very disappointed to be writing a 2 star review for the Grimsby Massage Therapy Clinic as they are supposed to be one of the best places in town to go. But due to the lack of communication, unprofessional demeanor and poor service....I feel that it is the review they deserve. We will not be booking a service here again.
