Grimsby Karate Dojo

We’ve been coming to Grimsby Karate Dojo for almost 2 years now. It has had a huge positive impact on my two daughters who attend. They are learning so many wonderful skills, building confidence and leadership. We are grateful for the practical self defence tools as well. We highly recommend!

When I first came to GKD i wasn’t mentally okay I needed something to make me feel happy about myself and not to be scared, I did karate in the past so i started back up at GKD, they have shown me lot and have made me feel so much happier, the dojo is my second home and second place I rather be, it help me forget about things like when life get tough, the stuff care about each and everyone at GKD

My 6 year old son joined the Grimsby Karate Dojo almost a year ago and since joining I have noticed a huge difference. Not only is he learning self defense but also respect and self discipline. Also, the staff are all so welcoming. We are happy with our choice to join and look forward to our journey to black belt and beyond.

Sensei Fyfe and his team are everything and more you could want in a Dojo, they care not only about their students success but about them. It’s amazing how quickly they know their names, always greeting with a smile and taking the time needed to ensure success. My child’s confident has grown wonders since starting here and has made him the boy he is today. It’s not a mystery why they often place in the top 3 at competitions. The dedication this team has is not like anything I’ve seen. Anyone who has the opportunity to train here would not be disappointed, I recommend them to anyone I know, my son loves going and is excited, he’s full of energy and happy. From the social activities in the park, movie nights and banquets to the continuous hard work and dedication this team puts into all of the success I feel privileged my son is included and am thankful for his outcome and for all of them. Thank you for all you do it’s never unnoticed.

Great place to learn karate and not just that teach discipline , respect and kids get more confidence… all family can participate never to late to start something new that my experience all my family enjoyed (5 members)
