Excellent product that we have used before. Just finished 2 bags and need more ! ! Great mix of earth and compost and peat. The driver helped out with the positioning of the 2 bags, greatly appreciated !!! With our yard makeover and that we are now retired, we will likely be getting more next year ! ! ! Placed a social media post and will highlight " Big Yellow Bag " in my descriptions. It's that good ! !

Amendment to my original review: After I posted my initial feedback (below), Big Yellow Bag followed up with me at the start of the week indicating a desire to address my concerns. Although I had already spent the better part of Sunday scrubbing out the tire marks by hand, they thanked me for my feedback and acknowledged my disappointment/frustration. Of their own volition, they also provided me with a small refund to cover the cost of the cleaning products that were required to address the marks in the driveway. I appreciated their prompt response and integrity in addressing my concerns ~ I’ve encountered very few businesses that try to make things right when something has gone awry. Original Review: I am really disheartened by my Big Yellow Bag order this year, in particular the delivery. Last year, I managed to catch the delivery driver when he arrived at my place and he graciously suggested where I should put the bags so as not to mark up my concrete driveway. He placed the bags on my lawn and left no trace (lawn or driveway) that he had even been there save the bags that were dropped off. This year, I marked the same spot on my lawn since it worked out so well last year. The bags were placed in the same spot, however there are giant tire marks over ¾ of my driveway. It’s so bad both my neighbours and passersby have commented on it. I don’t understand why the bulk of my driveway needed to be marked up. Last year, it was a non-issue and the delivery driver took such care with my property. And due to circumstances beyond my control, I don’t have access to water outside my home which means I’m going to have to try and get the marks out by hand somehow. I was thrilled to be able to order bulk quantities of dirt for my garden beds the past 2 years because it’s been cost effective and more manageable for me. But given how badly my driveway has been marked up this year, I don’t know that I feel comfortable ordering from Big Yellow Bag again.

I’m really impressed with the improvements Green Horizons Sod Farms has made since last year—especially at this specific location. Last year, I had a decent experience, but the customer service felt a bit rushed and the area could’ve been cleaner. This year, though, it’s a completely different story. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and much more attentive. They took the time to answer all my questions and made sure I got exactly what I needed without feeling pressured. The entire shop and yard were noticeably cleaner and better organized, which made the whole visit smoother and more enjoyable. You can tell they’ve made an effort to raise their standards, and it really shows in the overall customer experience.

We ended up purchasing the RTF sod from Youngs and installed it last May. I couldn't find many reviews on the RTF, but since we have a large Maple tree out front which shades the grass half the day, and steals a lot of the water I'm sure, we figured we would give it a try. It is now a year later and with 1 year of the Young's fertilizer program on it I couldn't be happier. With the pandemic bringing everyone down, I can at least smile every time I look out my front window. I am working from home and I hear a group of teenage boys, chatting walking down the sidewalk I hear the one stop and say "wow look at that grass". That is something that makes me laugh to this day. Thanks to the friendly staff at Young 's for answering my questions and getting me set up.

Excellent sod and at a price less than other locations i called. Great customer service..... Barb, Jen and Colleen made the purchase and organization of the sod delivery easy and stress free. The ladies also provided advise on laying the sod. Thank you.
