We were there for one night, arriving on Monday, March 2nd, and staying in room 2003. The plastic bracelet they provided was ineffective. I had to wait outside, call them and obtain new ones, which they promptly delivered (the staff were very accommodating). After entering the room, we quickly headed to the water park, which was exceptional with one minor exception: the burgers were bland. Despite this, we maintained a positive outlook as we were celebrating our daughter’s third birthday, so we continued to enjoy the water park. After all this fun, we returned to the room to take showers. Surprisingly, after the second shower, there was no hot water. We contacted the receptionist, who dispatched the maintenance manager to verify the issue. He assured us that a plumber would be sent to inspect the problem. The plumber arrived and replaced the cartridge on the shower valve, but the problem persisted. He indicated that the pipe needed to be cleaned, as it appeared to be clogged. However, we had limited time, as it was already midnight and we were exhausted. Additionally, we had to check out at 11:00 a.m. the next day. In summary, my overall impressionI wouldn’t say is positive. Aside from the water park and the friendly staff, I would consider spending money on food or other amenities. It is preferable to dine at a restaurant or have supper outside, as it is only a five-minute drive to downtown. Alex
View on GoogleWe had an amazing stay at Great Wolf Lodge Niagara Falls! This place is absolutely incredible. There are so many activities for everyone and you’ll never run out of things to do. The water park is fantastic and the whole atmosphere is perfect for families. The food was also really good, which made the experience even better. Everything was well organized and the staff were friendly. It was such a great trip that we are already planning to come back next year. Highly recommend this place if you want a fun and memorable getaway!
View on GoogleThis place is Disney for kids. There isn't much negative to say about GWL. This is the 4th time for us. So you know, if we're willing to pay big bucks they must be doing something right. Bowling, laser tag, mini-golf. And of course the indoor water park. It's geared to the kids. Shows in the main lobby, the magiquest. Check it out on the Internet as I haven't even mentioned the food. The following are pretty much nitpicks. It really is expensive! But the place is packed, so they found a price point people are will to pay. For us CAD, 2 night, $1000+. And we paid it even though I cringe at the thought of what we paid. Luggage carts are hard to find if you come during peak times. Magiquest is a pain to walk the stairs with signs asking not to use the elevator. We used the elevator anyway, sorry GWL, I have bad joints and leading the kids was painful using the stairs. Not having ice machines on each floor considering what we paid is unacceptable. They don't have enough handicap parking spots. The main pool area should be open longer. The sensors for the magiquest are a little finicky. At times frustrating. Playing a round of magiquest is over-priced consider the overall cost of the rooms. Overall, we'll come back, but it will be a few years before we return because of this cost.
View on GoogleIts been a looking time since I've been to GWL. We went a week ago with the kids, and I have zero complaints. The place is very well kept, the staff are sooo polite, the room was immaculate, very well designed and omg the bed was so comfortable. Our room was kn the 4th floor, and the kids had a bunk bed upstairs with tv and bathroom. Downstairs had a fireplace, balcony, tv, sofa bed and two queen beds. The Waterpark was amazing too, also very well kept. Didn't get that dingy feeling you get sometimes from some places. Our family will definitely be returning, I would recommend having the experience. OH, and the food was spectacular. So much variety, for breakfast and dinner. It was a buffet style, the lines were long but the food made up for it in my opinion lol. Anyways, its a must have experience. Thanks GWL!
View on GoogleAlways a great time with the family and kids here. There is a fun, welcoming atmosphere and there are always activities and events that are family oriented. The waterpark is the main attraction for us, and there are a good variety of slides for kids as young as 2 to adults. The wolf tail is a great drop slide and is pretty thrilling. There is also a big orange slide called the Mammoth (?) that seats 4 people in a large tube, that is as tall as the biggest slides there, but runs much longer and smoother and can accommodate my 2 year old or my 70+ year old parents. All this in a year round indoor facility! It can get pretty busy, but the staff are great and the kids love it, will come back again, have already been here 3 times.
