Grand View Marketplace

This gift shop is definitely on the pricier side, but it’s laid out nicely with themed sections so there’s something for everyone. The higher prices make sense given its prime location right by Niagara Falls, where foot traffic is nonstop. The store have a nice selection of fridge magnets, which I collect whenever I visit places. If you’re visiting from the U.S., use a card and pay in CAD rather than USD for a better rate.

This is quite the expensive gift shop that people need to go through as they exit the Hornblower boat ride. I liked how they separated the gift shop into different themes so that there's something to suit everyone. The prices definitely reflect the location which is a hot spot with a lot of foot traffic as it's right by Niagara Falls. If you're visiting from the US, pay in CAD instead of USD if using card.

Our visit to Niagara Falls, especially at the Grand View Marketplace, was amazing! This spot offers some of the best views of both the American and Horseshoe Falls – perfect for capturing photos without needing to get too close. Standing there and watching the powerful rush of water was mesmerizing and really gives you a sense of the falls’ magnitude. The area was well-maintained, with thoughtful seasonal decorations that added a nice touch to the scenery. The “LOVE” sign was a fun spot for photos, and you can feel the energy of the falls from the viewpoint. We didn’t go on the boat ride, but honestly, the views from Grand View were more than enough to make this a memorable experience. Highly recommend stopping by this spot if you’re visiting Niagara!

It is indeed a grand view, looking out over the American Falls and the Horseshow Falls, this is a great place to take in the awe of the waterfalls and watch the various ships coming and going from their docks into the mist. A few vendors here but I was early enough that they weren't open yet and I could sit in peace without the pressure to make a purchase. And then after my ride on the Niagara City Cruise (from the Canada side), it was a good place to sit, dry off a bit and perhaps come down from the high of the mist experience on the river.

What a great place to shop and eat. They have the cutest tee shirts and sweatshirts, and souvenirs that are different than all the other souvenir stores. Great great clean places and great service!!
